Chapter 6
*Jasmin*
I'm so happy me and Jai have got stronger and closer now I've moved here, I've never been so happy. He's my bestfriend, lover, protector. Cheesy, I know. But it's true! Jai was talking to Luke yesterday and thinks he has a thing for Nikisha and I know she has a thing for him. So it's double date time! The boys are taking us to a cute little Italian restaurant on the beach front, nothing too fancy but it's so cute!
Rishaun's say on the bed talking about James, I know he likes her and she likes him but she's so stubborn when it comes to these things. She much rather hide her feelings than be turned down or worse... Fall in love. She never really liked showing her feelings when it came to boys she just pushed them aside and rather be friends with them "it's easier, less drama, less hassle, happier people!" she would argue.
It's 6pm and they'll be here in about an hour and a half. I decided to have my hair in a high messy bun, an off the shoulder 3/4 blue top with dark grey skinny jeans that had diamanté on them so it wasn't too plain, blue vans topped with cute little gold bracelets and my cross necklace. Nikisha was wearing her hair naturally down(loose curls) with, red skinny jeans, a cute cream peplum top and black pumps.
*Rishaun*
"OK girls yous can stop with the hairspray and perfume now" I say half coughing half laughing. It's 7:15 by the time they're ready, giving me time to snap some pictures for instagram. I can't say I'm jealous, I'm having a lazy night in with Skip, Beau and James.
*beep* I receive a message from James, "hey, skip and beau are gonna go out partying but I can't be bothered aha. Still want me to come around?" I smile to myself, and text back "yeah sure:P".
The boys soon arrive, James, Jai and Luke. Before leaving I take pictures of the cute couples and tease them. They jump in the car and before they drive off I shout "don't have sex you'll get pregnant and die!"
Me and James walk back in to the living room and put on the movie 'Step Brothers' one of my favourites. We small talk, eat pizza have a couple of drinks and watch movies to about 2pm. I noticed James moving closer, laying across my lap. As the last movie finishes we both get up and decide to go to bed.
"Rishaun, that last movie scared me so I can't I sleep with you?" he whines and winks. "Fine, but no funny business" I laugh.
We walk up stairs and sit on my bed, legs crossed sat opposite each other. Our eyes meet, he leans in. Is this it, are we gonna kiss?!
*James*
Her lips look so perfect, she's beautiful even with no make up, her hair chucked up and in jogging bottoms. I can't help it, I need to kiss her. Let her know that I have feelings for her. But I don't want to hurt her.
She's leaning in too. *RING RING RING* my phone goes off. "Shit" I mumble, I look at rishaun and she's smiling and says, "aren't you gonna answer that?" I laugh.
"Hello?"
"Hey man, it's Skip. You need to get up the hospital asap!"
"What happened?! We'll be up there in five!"
Rishaun looks worried.
"Quick! Something's happened and they're at the hospital but that's all I know!"
We rush around downstairs, I can Rishaun worrying. As we walk out the door I grab Rishuan's face and kiss her. This is perfect, she pulls away with her cheeks blushing. "Let's go" she says.
*Rishaun*
We're on the way to the hospital. WHATS HAPPENED? I hope everything's alright. I look at James, his smile just made me feel like everything is going to be fine. I can't believe he kissed me it felt so perfect, but I can't focus on that right now.
We reach the hospital. Beau, Skip and Luke are outside waiting for us. They lead us to Jasmin's room, where Jai and Nikisha are sat on either side of the bed, looking at the floor. Tear and dirt marks are on their faces. I run in crying. "What happened?!" I question. Jai looks at me, opens his mouth but no words come out. "We had an accident, after dinner we had a couple of drinks. A guy came out of no where and screamed at us. He punched Jasmin and kicked her." she cries, "we were inside when it all happened, we just walked outside to see this big guy beating her! Jai and Luke dragged him off her, he was way too drunk and aggressive. Jai flipped and knocked the man straight out but then we came here and she's unconscious!" Nikisha cried and rushed through her words. I looked at Jai, his hand was bruised and cut. Luke walks in and takes Jai out to try comfort him.
I burst out in tears, I walk to Jasmins bed side and hold her hand. James comes to me and hugs me. I ask him to go, I have to focus on Jasmin and Nikisha right now.
