EVENTUALLY, THE BELL RANG and Colton, hiding in the bathroom to restore what was left of her dignity, was on her way to chemistry class. People, like Danny, had warned her that the teacher of the class was a complete and total dick. Like a grade A, hard ass dick that had a quick mouth which never seemed to run out of sarcastic shit to say.

Colton was never one to judge people based on what others said, but if ninety-nine point nine of the entire student body said the same thing then there had to be some truth to the words. At least.

But she'd give him a chance, after all, how bad could one man be?

"Aah, so it's another one of you brainless moneys? I swear, the only good thing you teenagers are good for is me getting an enjoyment out of your misery."

... Ok, so Mr. Harris was the Devil Incarnate. But that wasn't the only thing horrible about being in this classroom. Asshole of a teacher? She can deal with that. Boy she just called hot and ran from? She could not deal with that. He was staring at Colton with a small smile and waved to her causing her to turn her head down and wait for Harris to point her towards her new seat.

"While I would love to have you make a fool of yourself with introductions, I have bigger things to discuss." If she punched this man, would anyone really care? "Sit in the front. Stilinski, McCall! Don't cause her unnecessary trouble. Wouldn't want her grade to drop on the first day because of you, right?" That's when she decided that she hated Mr. Harris with everything in her being. Before she could open her mouth and be on his bad side already, sh scurried to her seat in silence and made it her mission to block out the feeling of two pairs of eyes piercing through her skull.

Colton turned to see who she was sitting by and saw a blonde girl beside her. She was jealously gorgeous. Her blonde hair was medium length and curled at the ends, skin pale and flawless, and heart-shaped face that boys probably swoon over. Her eyes were a nice ocean blue like when the sun hit the water and it turned a greenish blue color. To wrap things up though, she was beautiful just like most of the people in Beacon Hills. Colton wondered what kind of water they were drinking and where she could find some.

It wasn't long before the bell for class to start rang and Colton found a quiz paper in front of her. When she went to raise her hand, Mr. Harris already beat her to it.

"I don't care that you just got here. Do the quiz."

Colton pursed her lips and looked down at her paper, stress already piling up on her. And she had just got here! She fought the urge to groan loudly and went to get a pencil, cursing quietly when she couldn't find one.

"Wonderful first day Colton..." She started quietly, "first day and you don't even have a writing utensil... great.."

Colton─for the third time that day! like seriously, what the hell?!─jumped as something poked her lower back and she concealed the squeak that almost forced itself out. She went to turn her head to see what poked her when a hand gripped hers and she turned to the side of her, the blonde girl holding out a pen for her.

"Take it. You can keep it. Just don't turn around at all, ok?"

Before she could even say a word, her seat mate─if that was even a word─turned back to her own quiz as if she hadn't just talked to her. Colton looked up to see Mr. Harris watching the class and brought her head down to the paper.

It was a few moments into class before she heard Harris speak again.

"Mr. Stilinski." The teacher sighed out, irritation clear in his voice, "this is a pop quiz and if I hear your voice again, I'll be tempted to give you detention for the rest of your high school career."

Well, it's pretty obvious he didn't like whoever he was talking to. Colton turned in her seat, ignoring the boy from earlier who was staring at her in favor of the pale, scrawny boy with a buzzcut behind him. The boy, Stilinski, looked shocked more or less with his eyes and mouth open wide.

"Can you even do that?" Colton could tell that he was honestly questioning the man and she felt a bit sorry for the unfortunate fool since she was sure that Mr. Harris would do that.

"Aaah, there's your voice again, triggering the only impulse I've ever had to strike a student repeatedly and violently." Colton blinked her eyes, wow, he really did not like this kid. And was that even legal? Could he say that? "I will see you at detention at three. Would you like to join him, Mr. McCall?"

"No." Her eyes went to the boy behind her, trying to calm her fluttering heart as he stared back at her with a look in his eyes, "no, sir."

"Good. Now get back to your quizes."

Colton's face felt awfully hot as she slowly turned back to her quiz and tried to concentrate. Though, it was harder than before when she knew that McCall was staring at the back of her head. She turned her head to the side and saw a girl, a brunette with a strong jaw, looking between her and the boy and she felt something shrivel up in her chest and die.

The girl looked at him with something akin to true love and Colton found herself turning back to her quiz, this time finding the paper to be a great distraction to her as she blocked out his stare and went to answering her rigged paper.
