When Vira opened her eyes, she saw the same boy sitting down next to her form. He held two cups, one with clear liquid and one with red liquid.
"O-oh, you're awake. That's good." The boy started nervously, "I was beginning to think you wouldn't wake up." He held up the cup with the clear liquid inside. "Here."
"Well, I was a bit shocked by it, but, yeah. I'm awake. And, thanks." Vira took the glass from the boy and hesitantly took a sip. Luckily it was just water.
"So, why were you out in the forest? Don't you know how dangerous it is? You're lucky I found you and not......." The ravenette trailed off. Something told Vira that he was referring to something that even scared him. Then again, Vira thought, he looks like anything could scare him.
"It was a dare by my friend." Vira looked at him, "So, vampire, huh? I figured they didn't exist."
"Well, we usually try to keep a low profile considering how humans react to things that can kill them. But some of us aren't that careful and tend to let humans find us and walk away alive, where they start spreading the information," Theo explained, taking a sip of his own cup with the red liquid. Then his eyes widened. "O-Oh! Right," he extended one of his pale hands. "I'm Theo. You?"
"Vira." She shook his hand, noting how cold it was. He's a vampire, Vira. She thought. Of course it would be cold.
"Well, hi, Vira. Nice to meet you." Theo smiled shyly.
"Likewise, I guess," then Vira thought out loud, "Wait, why haven't you killed me, yet?"
Theo's eyes widened. "K-Kill you!? No! I would never kill a human. I'm not the one that does that. That's...," he hesitated, looking around as if he were afraid someone would hear, "That's just not what I do."
Vira looked around to see if she could find what he was afraid of. Then it clicked. "You don't live here alone, do you?"
Theo looked at her, eyes filled with frighten. Before he spoke, he heard the front door open.
"Oh, no."
