Day 31

"Here we are," Yoongi sighs, and smiles. "This was her heaven."

I look around to see shelves and shelves filled with books, the lady at the checkout smiles at us warmly and gets back to her work. I watch Yoongi smile a little to himself, I forgot that these places will trigger memories, the good and the bad.

"Are you sure this is the place?" I ask Hoseok, who seems to be on edge.

"It was Yoongi who suggested here not me," Hoseok watches Yoongi walk down one of the aisles. "She gave me a book, she could have meant any book store or library."

"Don't tell Yoongi that," I say. "Let him have this little bit of happiness."

"You think I would ruin it?" He turns to me. "Do you really believe I'm some heartless murderer?"

"Heartless, no." I sigh deeply. "Murderer, yes."

"It was an accident."

"That doesn't change the fact you ran her over, you nearly ran me over too."

"I didn't mean for this, any of it." Hoseok swallows. "You have to believe me, I have known you for years, I am one of your closest friends, Yoongi too."

"Were," I begin to walk after Yoongi. "You were one of my closest friends."
