I really liked the idea of negative spaces and tried playing around with it. It was fun, and I made this dragon symbol using only a pencil, sharpie, and paper (as well as a few online references):

For some reason I am really proud of myself for making this sharpie thing.
Then, I had an idea. What if I could put some cool patterns in the back? I was thinking something like those zen doodles, you know, the mix of random patterns into shapes.

Then I thought I would go with something tougher, like flames. It seemed like the better choice, so I went with it. Here is the outline:

I know I didn't color all of the flames, I'm a lazy dragon. So, if you want, you can take the original drawing and color it or add the zen doodle background. If you do, please tag me so that I can see!
