I went home that night, utterly exhausted. Today was....eventful, to say the least. Zane and Travis started dating and I had my very first kiss. It was a weird feeling; having someone's lips on mine. I liked at though. Maybe I could get a girlfriend if I really wanted to. Heh. Nah, that'll never happen. I drifting off to sleep, thinking of my kiss.

I lifted my head up from the pillow, slightly disoriented. Someone was knocking on my door. Repeatedly. I stumbled out of bed and downstairs, almost falling in the process. Once I opened the door, I was greeted with a friendly smile. From none other than the lovely Lucinda. "H-Hey." I stuttered, slightly blushing. She giggled. "Good morning sleepyhead." I rubbed my face and opened the door wider to let her in. She walked in, still giggling. "Your hair is sticking up in like, ten different directions." She told me, struggling to stifle her laughter. "Of course it is." I sighed, walking to the kitchen. I pulled out a carton of eggs, a pan, a spatula, and turned on the stove. I cracked the eggs into the pan, put the pan on the stove, and started making eggs.

Lucinda came around the corner and hugged me from behind. "I have something to tell you." She whispered, happiness evident in her voice. I turned around and looked at her. "I'm perganate." She said, her eyes wild. "Whoooooooooo!!" I screamed, flinging the spatula at the cat. Lucinda jumped off the wall and disappeared into the ceiling. I screamed again, then ran into the refrigerator. I melted into it, becoming the fridge. Then everyone deaded because Superman didn't save the cat.

(Ignore that. On with the story!)

I started singing a song that reminded me of my mom and I.

Without you, I feel broke, like I'm half of a whole

Without you, I've got no hand to hold

Without you, I feel torn, like a sail in a storm

Without you, I'm just a sad song

You're the perfect melody
The only harmony I wanna hear
You're my favorite part of me

With you standing next to me, I've got nothing to fear

Without you, I feel broke, like I'm half of a whole

Without you, I've got no hand to hold

Without you, I feel torn, like a sail in a storm without you

Without you, I feel broke, like I'm half of a whole

Without you, I've got no hand to hold

Without you, I feel torn, like a sail in a storm

Without you, I'm just a sad song

Without you, I'm just a sad song

Lucinda snuck up behind me, poking me in the side. "So, you sing, huh?" She asked, hopping up on the counter next to me. I blushed, looking away. "S-Sometimes." She laughed. "It's good." I shook my head. "No, not really." I mumbled, taking the eggs and separating them onto two plates and handing Lucinda one. "Mm...this smells delicious." She moaned before picking a small portion out with her fingers and popping it in her mouth. She closed her eyes, savoring it. "This is good!" She exclaimed, opening her eyes to look at me. "Heh...thanks." I said, getting a fork to eat. After we finished, I put the plates in the dishwasher, then straightened up to look at her. "So...whatcha wanna do today?" I asked, running a hand through my hair. Her eyes lit up. "Let's go to the planetarium!!" She yelled, jumping off the counter and facing me. I sighed, then nodded. "Let me get ready. I'll be downstairs in 10 minutes." I said, jogging upstairs to go get ready.

I came back downstairs, ready to go. I looked at Lucinda on the couch, still in what she came over in. Shorts and a tank top. "Uh...Lucinda...a-are you going to change?" I asked nervously, looked away. She glanced up, then gasped. "Oh right! I comepletely forgot!" She exclaimed, standing up to get her wand. I was watching her the entire time, snapping out of my daze when she cleared her throat. "Um...can you turn around?" She asked, teasingly swinging her hips. "O-Oh! Yeah, sorry." I mumbled, turning around. I heard a small pop behind me before I heard her. "Alright, it's safe to turn around." She said.

I looked at her, my mouth slightly open. The dress was above mid-thigh and she was wearing small heels, making her legs look amazingly long. In a good way, of course. Her hair was swept over her shoulders, left down. She had a small amount of makeup on; just enough to make her look like she had it on. My eyes traveled up and down her body a few times before I realized what I was doing. "Let's go." I muttered, grabbing my keys and heading towards the door. She bolted past me, stealing the keys on her ear and unlocking the car before sliding into the passenger seat. "Here's your keys, pretty boy." She laughed, tossing me my keys. "Why thank you, beautiful." I teased, my face red. I started driving, making small talk along the way.
