Jungkook's POV
Everything is a bet. My friends knew that Kim Taehyung, a student older than us by a year, has been crushing on me. My friends constantly tease me and it's getting irritating. My usually peaceful life turned into chaos just after Taehyung followed me on Twitter which pushed my friends to tease me even more. And I hated it.
Once Daewon had mentioned a bet to make Taehyung fall for me more and to break him, since I had mentioned that I loathed every bit of that junior, I immediately accepted the wager. It is also a challenge for myself to push Taehyung away enough for him to never speak to me again. I wanted him to stay away.
I never knew I'd fall for him.
In those hours, days, weeks I have been with him: I found myself smiling at the littlest things, I found myself letting go and being carefree, I found myself falling in love with him. I have no courage to tell him everything started with a bet but ending with the truest feelings I have ever felt. He makes me smile, he makes me want to cry and he makes me want to fall for him even deeper.
I'm torn between my lifelong friends and the one who stole my heart. I wanted to tell my friends that I've changed my mind about the bet.

He's relentless. I can't stop him from coming to me. No matter what I do to avoid him, he always finds a way to bounce right back up. He's annoying, crazy, dense, and weird.
But that's everything that I admire about him.
This year, I planned on staying focus, like every other year I passed. I am a good student who wants nothing but good grades and a good future. But sometimes, life doesn't always go well as planned.

Third Person's POV
Entering Jungkook's hallway, Taehyung hears Jungkook's friends bickering about something. Taehyung knowing Jungkook, he's studying with his friends nearby, since Jungkook said he didn't like to conversate nonsense which his friends mostly talk about.
Taehyung was about to step into Jungkook's room when one of his friends suddenly put him in a headlock and said, "How's the bet going?" Taehyung hid myself from the doorway right away, praying that none of Jungkook's friends or him saw him enter. Taehyung shakes, knowing he shouldn't eavesdrop on their conversation like this. "Did you break his heart already?"
So it's true. Taehyung sighs, he can hear his heart breaking and tears starting to well up on his eyes. "I've seen the tweets, Jungkook. Looks like Taehyung's falling so hard for you!" One of Jungkook's friends chirped in as well. Taehyung didn't want to hear more but his legs were frozen, his mind forgot to think straight. Irene was right, and Taehyung even called her a liar. "Aw, our maknae is growing up~"
The only time Taehyung fall in love, it's with a person who decides to mess him up. With a heavy heart, Taehyung prepares to run away from Jungkook's room with all the strength he had left.
"Shut up, all of you shut up!" Jungkook's outbursts surprises his friends. Jungkook never yells. "I don't want to do the bet anymore! I'm hurting someone I care about!" Jungkook's friends stayed silent, seeing their youngest friend having tears in his eyes, about to fall, stunned them. "I like Taehyung! For real, guys, I'm not playing anymore. So can you please just shut up? Bet's off."
Jungkook then walks away, wanting nothing more than to hug Taehyung right now. And possibly tell him everything before it's too late.

However, Taehyung doesn't respond anymore. Jungkook's tears fall down, all the guilt is eating him up inside. He needed Taehyung at the moment but he had no idea where the older was. He can't call him, Taehyung's busy. So he locks himself inside a cubicle in the boys' restroom, softly sobs thinking about the mess he has gotten himself into. If only he had immediately told Taehyung that this was all a stupid bet.
That night he confessed to Taehyung, he was so close to telling Taehyung everything, but he was afraid that Taehyung wouldn't understand him and leave him there. Especially when Jungkook had sorted out his feelings.
All he knows now is he wants Taehyung and that he loves him.
