"Taehyung, you're spacing out again." Irene laughs when Taehyung apologizes. It's been happening a lot lately. Taehyung randomly spaces out, thinking about nothing much really and Jungkook ever so often. It's been quite some time that he knew about the bet and he had his heart broken; but deep inside, he wanted to run back to Jungkook and shower him with kisses because he lied, he didn't move on yet.
Taehyung stirs his drink with the straw attached, Irene eyeing his every movement, feeling sorry for her friend that is experiencing heartbreak at the moment. "Cheer up, Tae. When the time comes, I know you and Jungkook will be happy together again."
"He has Jimin." Taehyung sighs thinking about their messages earlier. Jungkook is giving Jimin a chance, maybe Jungkook wants to forget everything, to move on from Taehyung. He, however, knows that he won't be moving on in a long time. Even though those months they spent together were part of the bet, Taehyung treasured those moments for he was the only lucky person to ever see Jungkook like that. "He seems unhappy." Irene states. It was obvious, really. It's as if Jungkook is forcing himself to move on and just forget. Does he really hate me that much to force himself into something he doesn't want?
"Can you think I can come to your house later? I want to talk to Jungkook even for a little while."
"Tae, he moved out a week ago. And I don't know where his apartment is."
"I should probably go find him then."
"Yeah, go get your happily ever after."
Taehyung smiles as he hugged his friend which she responded with a pat on the back. "Good luck." Irene whispers before Taehyung stands up and mutters a soft "Thank you." before leaving.
