Chapter 4 - A Piece of French Toast

     Anala's P.O.V.

     The next morning I groggily woke up and headed downstairs where there was a wondrous breakfast set up.
     " Is this for Tamaki?" I asked and rubbed my eyes.
     " No, this is all for you guys," a voice said behind us.
     Sure enough, Tamaki was right behind me in slippers and nightclothes.
     Nastu ate everything he saw and Gajeel tried to hold him down.  
     Wendy daintily ate and was finished after one plate.
     Laxus ate twelve raw eggs with the shell and nothing else.
     Sting and Rogue ate 2 plates each with either dark colored fruits or light colored fruits.
(Hm... I wonder which had which.....)
     I ate a couple of mango slices, pineapple slices, and one pancake with lots of sugar and maple syrup.
     After finishing my pancake, I looked over to Zach and he had nothing on his plate. He just stared at the food in front of him. 
     " Hey Zach, are you going to eat anything?" I asked him.
      No response.
      " Hey Zach," I said a little louder. " Are you going to eat anything?"
      Again, no response.
      I threw a piece of French toast at his head and he looked at me with demon eyes.
      " Finally! I got your attention!" I started. " Are you going to eat anything?"
      " I'm not hungry....." he said quietly.
      " Oh come on Zach! You know as much as me that you're lying!" I said.
      " I'm not hungry," he said again.
      ' Ok that's it!'
      I jumped over the table and landed on him. He tried to throw me off but he couldn't. With my left arm holding him down, I took my right hand (which had a fork attached to a piece of French toast) and shoved the toast down his throat.
      He coughed for a bit and then swallowed it.
      " Well?" I asked.
      " It was good....." he whispered.
      " What did you say?" I started. " Say that a little louder please~~~"
      " IT WAS GOOD!!!" he yelled.
      " I'm glad you liked it!" I said and smiled.
       I got off of him and realized that everyone was staring at me.
      Natsu and Gajeel immediately laughed their heads off and slapped each other's backs.
      Wendy stared at me with wide eyes.
      Rogue narrowed his eyes in disapproval.
      Sting and Laxus punched their fists into their hands and silently cursed.
      ' Oops, I messed up.'
      I embarrassingly excused myself from the table and headed up to my room.
      I face planted into the bed.
      ' I'm so dumb! Why would I do that in front of everyone! Now everyone will think that I like him!'
      After a while, I realized that I sounded like a typical middle school.
      " You know what, I think I'll be fine," I started. " They are probably mature enough to realize that I was trying to feed Zachary for his well
being. I think I'll be fine......."
      ' Eh, on second thought, maybe not.....'

       Zachary's P.O.V.

Ummmm, ok? That just happened.
A girl got on me, and shoved a piece of French toast down my throat.
Yup, totally normal.
" So Zachary, are you hitting on my sister?" Laxus said with a stone cold face.
" Of course not!" Zachary said. " She's the one that jumped on me!"
" I'm watching you regardless of what happened," Laxus said. " If I see this again, be prepared for the worst pain in your life."
" Whatever....." I mumbled.
Laxus walked away and I picked myself off of the floor.
I gotta admit, French toast is pretty good.
