The Floor is Lava

A/N   I used to play this when I was younger so I got an idea. It's kinda short so sorry. Hope you like it.

John's POV

John was coming home from a days hard work at the hospital. He left Sherlock to take care of Rosie, but was a bit worried. He trusts Sherlock, but Rosie is two and is starting to get into things. Sherlock and John had been dating for almost a year, and John reassured himself that everything would be fine.
He unlocked to door to 221B and walked in quietly. He heard footsteps and squealing coming from the living room. John peeked around the corner to see the love of his life playing with his daughter. But not just any game, no, John knew this game very well. They were playing the floor is lava.
They had cushions set out on the floor, so Rosie could jump from chair to chair without hitting the floor. Sherlock only had to walk along them, seen as his legs are so long. John didn't notice how much time had passed while watching the two jump around, and Rosie spotted him.
"Lock, bring me to daddy pwease!!" Rosie said excitedly. Sherlock picked up the little girl and walked on the cushions over to John. Rosie told him about the game, even though John knew how to play, and insisted him on joining. Soon enough, the three were hopping around the flat, avoiding the floor so they wouldn't get 'burnt'.
Rosie's bed time rolled around quickly, and the two men finally got her to bed. They went to the living room to clean up the mess. They were almost done when Sherlock spun around and grabbed John by his waist. He pulled him close, and kissed him passionately.
"You have no idea how lucky I am to have you ,Sherlock."
"As to you, my dear Watson."
The two men separated, and finished cleaning up. They decided to stay up watching movies and eating popcorn. Sherlock laid his head in Johns lap, and both of the men fell asleep on the couch together.
