~Ari's POV~

I was getting ready for the dance. I was wearing a short black dress that was held up by one strap to the side and had a heart in the middle. I wore my growing black hair up in a tight bun. I didn't wear eye liner or any makeup as usual and I rode in silence to the dance with my younger sister. The dance, I could feel, would be one to remember.

As I walked into the dance, a face that I hadn't seen in years was staring back at me.

"Ari?" His velvety soft voice stunned me, "You've grown so much, babe," Chris told me as he cradled my face in soft hands. I was in shock.

"You've grown too! I didn't expect to see you here, though. Did Kyle bring you?" I asked him. He was so damn hot it wasn't even funny. His crystal blue eyes and stunning black hair that almost covered his eyes. I couldn't help but stare into his eyes. I had Kyle though, I couldn't leave him. It was wrong after our talk earlier.

"Yeah he did. I heard you need a dance partner?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I guess Kyle wanted to save a dance for Mali so I let him. Then I wanted to get you here and they told me I couldn't and everything got confusing and everything. So that you're here makes me very happy." I told him. It was the truth, he was the brightness of my day right now.

~Kyle's POV~

I had brought Chris here to hang with me and my buddies the whole dance and on the first two minutes of the dance I had already lost him. He was with me while we hung our coats up and then, I went to say 'hi' to Tommy and he hadn't followed me. I ran back up the small staircase to the entrance to the school. The dances were in the cafeteria so it was right there. I saw him standing there cradling my girlfriends beautiful face in his hands. I could've slapped him right there but I didn't feel like being thrown out of the dance. So I waited until Chris saw me and excused himself and walked over to me.

"What the heck was that?!" I shouted in a whisper so she wouldn't hear. We walked back into the cafeteria so she didn't think anything was wrong.

"I'm sorry if you have the hottest girlfriend that I've ever seen!" he said back and I think he blushed a little. "I'm sorry it's just- she always seemed to me like my best friend, ok? It felt like I could always rely on her with something. I just remember the first time we met..."

~Chris's POV~

"I had been standing in your yard playing baseball with my brother, you, and Nick. I didn't expect for Nick's swing to send the ball herding into Ari's yard. I looked both ways before I ran across the road. Before running over, I could see Ari in her pool with her brother and sister making splashes. I was running after the baseball when I crashed into Ari. She had been after the ball as well because she had seen it fly over. Afterwards, she told me that she would have brought it back. I realized why later that night. Ari wasn't wearing a regular two piece or one piece bathing suit. She was wearing a very hot bikini. She was wearing an all black string bikini and black bottoms too," I told Kyle truthfully. I knew I had to tell him someday. I saw his eyes soften a bit as Ari walked in the room.

"Hey guys, what's up baby?" She asked Kyle. I had to stop myself from vomiting up my dinner. Another girl came over that I didn't recognize she was beautiful too. She had long flowing belong hair that was dead strait. She had amazing blue eyes and she was wearing a lime green and gray striped shirt and a short skirt.

"Hi. I'm Paige, one of Kyle's ex-girlfriends. Who are you?" Her beautiful voice made me breathless.

"Hey, I'm Chris Jackson, I'm Kyle's neighbor," I looked over to see Kyle and Ari's faces three centimeters apart. Anger coursed through me but I went back to Paige.
