Clementine's Point Of View-

It has been an hour since I got to their house and still no sign of "him."

I'm not sure how long I will be able to get away with this.

Anyways, the hot cocoa was really good!

"How long do you think you can stay?" Mitch said.

"Um, well I'll stay as long as possible to be honest." I said.

"You can stay here," He said "It is pretty late."

"Alright, thanks so much guys." I said.

I crawled over to the heater and laid on the floor, the heat comforted me.

There's no way he will come to get me at this hour.

I looked at the clock, it read 12:14PM.

I slowly closed my eyes and found myself drifting into the clouds.

The next morning I found myself in a different place.

I was laying on an actual bed.

Was I still at the house?

I got up and left the room.

I wandered around searching for the stairs.

I quickly noticed my surrounding and sighed in relief.

"Good-morning!" Jerome said.

"Haha you too." I said.

There was a knock and the door. Must be those indoor woodpeckers again ;)

I ran to the corner of the room and closed my eyes.

"Don't worry it's just Mitch" Jerome said.

"Oops!" I said.

"Hey guys!" Mitch said.

Oh yeah I forgot to ask them where I woke up.

"Hey where did I wake up?" I asked.

"Well I have you my room just in case he came." Mitch said.

"Oh, well I think I'm gonna go back soon. I don't want to keep adding on punishments." I said.

"Well we were thinking about trying to see if we can get the chip taken out of you." Jerome said.

"Why would you do that for me?" I said.

"We care about you and don't want you to get hurt anymore." Mitch said.

"If you guys really did that I wouldn't know how to repay you." I said "are you guys serious?"

"Yeah we are" they said.

I started bawling my eyes out and ran and hugged them both.

Then there was a knock on the door.

"Hide" they said.

I ran upstairs and ran into Mitch's room.

I searched around and hid in a closet.

I leaned my head up against the wall.

"I know she's in here somewhere" he grunted.

"Sorry bud, she's not here." Jerome said.

"Oh really." He said.

Then I heard footsteps.

I ducked my head and pulled my knees to my chest.

I got picked up and ran down stairs.

I peeked and saw that it was him.

I wiggled out of his arms and tried to run away.

Then I stopped running realizing that I was on a leash-type thing.

I gave up and stopped resisting.

When we got to the lab I took a shower.

I got and I had to cook dinner, tonight it was cooking pasta and I was setting the table.

"Your gonna need three plates tonight." He said.

"Why?" I said.

"We have a new girl today." He said.

I gasped and turned around.

There stood a fairly tall girl, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Hi, I'm Clementine." I said.

"I-I'm Lauren" she said.

I gave her a bowl of spaghetti and lead her to our table.

"So where are you from?" I said.

"Honestly, I don't remember much the tranquilizers are still wearing off. But I remember that I live in Florida where I go to school to be a lawyer. My parents live down there too."

"Well I guess I should tell you what's going on here." I began, "the thing is, my average day is cleaning and preparing dinner. I've tried to escape many times. Right now you have a chip in your brain that tracks where you are."

Lauren gasped.

"Are you feeling okay? You look really pale and washed out."

"No, my hip really hurts. I just remembered I have fibromyalgia. It's basically a disease that affects the deep muscle tissues in my body. My legs and my shoulders are the worst, especially with this cold. Don't worry it's not contagious or anything, it's in my DNA."

"Wow, is there anything I can do to help you." I said.

"No it's fine now but in a little bit I will need my meds." She said.

"I'm gonna get us outta here" I said.
