|Chapter 18|Engaged|
Mitch's Point Of View-
Me, Clem and Jerome stayed in a hotel because Lauren would not leave.
We were going to visit him in the morning.

When we woke we all got ready and drove to the hospital.
When we got to the hospital Lauren said he was in surgery.
Clementine went to comfort Lauren and me and Jerome talked in the waiting room.
"So um, what do you think about Lauren and Ryan" Jerome said.
"What do you mean?" I said.
"Ryan proposed didn't he?" He said.
"I'm not sure." I said.
Clementine's Point Of View-
"So he was going to propose to you?" I said.
"I mean, I guess I found the box with this ring in his pocket when I was folding his clothes." She said.
The nurse comes out of the room and says that Ryan will come out of the anesthesia soon.
One person is allowed to come in and wait for him to wake up.
The four if us look at each other and know it should be Lauren.
Lauren's POV
I hold the box in my hand and go into the room. I put the box on the bed next to him and begin to caress his face and hold his hand.
He has always been there for me and I'll be here for him now.
He stirs and begins to wake up.
"Lauren," He says in his sleep.
I kiss his hand and his eyes open.
I smile at him. "Hey Ry"
"Where is he?"
I told him what happened after he went unconscious.
He sees the box on the bed.
"You found it, huh?" He asks winking at me.
"Yeah. The nurse gave me your clothes and I found it in your pocket."
"I was so worried I wouldn't be able to do this. I thought I was going to die" he said with a tear dripping down his face.
I wiped it away with my sleeve and he picked up the box.
"Lauren, I love you and I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?"
He opens the box.
Ryan's POV
She manages to get a yes out and starts crying tears of joy.
She kisses me.
I've missed that a lot.
I pick up her hand and slide the ring onto her finger.
"I love you Ryan." She says.
"I love you too"
Jerome's POV
Lauren comes out of the room and tells us we can come in.
I look down at her hand and see the engagement ring.
"Congratulations guys" I say to them.
Clem and Mitch notice as well and congratulate them.
The doctor comes back in.
