Chapter 2

~Link's POV~

       As I was riding to Kakiriko, I studied the girl. It looked like she got a pretty deep cut on her arm fighting off those bokoblins. Her face was also pretty cut up considering they dragged her face through the woods. I wonder what they wanted her for. Despite all her cuts, she was still very pretty. I can't help it. I think I have feelings for her. She's starting to stir...

~Your POV~

       As I was regaining consciousness, I noticed that I wasn't tied up or gagged. Wow! These monsters sure are cocky! I took my chance and I jumped off the horse. While running away screaming for help. It didn't take me long to become exhausted, though, and I sat down, finally noticing the cut on my leg. I heard a horse trotting towards me and I gave up. There's no way I can outrun a horse, even in top health, which I'm not. I started sobbing. "Don't cry. I'm not a monster. I took care of those back in Faron Woods. I'm taking you to Kakiriko Village to get you some medical attention." a strange voice said to me. I slowly turned my head to look at my savior when I gasped. Before me was a man in a green tunic on a beautiful brown horse I can only guess is Epona. "This can't be happening," I whispered. "What was that?" He asked. "Ok, this is happening." That's when the adrenaline stopped and the pain kicked in. "AHH!" "Are you ok?!" He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine it just hurts a little." I gasped in pain as I tried to get up. "No you are not ok!" he said, "Sit back down!" I obeyed and he picked me up bridal style and put me on Epona. He got on behind me. "Come on Epona! Let's get to Kakiriko Village!"

~Timeskip~

~Link's POV~

       I rode straight to Renado's house. I picked up the girl bridal style and brought her into the house. She had fallen asleep on the way here, so at least she doesn't feel as much pain as she did when she was awake. Her brows furrowed and she frowned. I wonder if she's having a nightmare.

~Your POV~

     I'm in total darkness. "Hello? Is anyone there?" No answer. I'm starting to freak out now. Where am I?

Then, I heard someone laugh. But not the good kind of laugh, it's the kind that sends shivers down your spine. "I'm coming for you (y/n). There's no escaping your future." Another bone-chilling laugh. "Hey? Hey! Wake up!" But this time the voice came from Link. I slowly opened my eyes to see Link looking at me concerned. Then I realize I was shaking all over and I forced my body to stop. "Are you ok? I heard you scream and found you shaking in your sleep." 

"I-I'm fine. J-just a nightmare." 

"Do you want to tell me about it?"

 I nodded. After I was done telling him, his concerned face looked even worse. "That sounds like Ganondorf. That must be why those monsters tried to kidnap you. You must be important to him."

"I don't know why," I said, "I'm not special. If anything I'm the opposite of that." 

"Hey, don't say that" 

"Why not? It's true. That's how I've been treated practically my whole life. Like a nobody." 

"You're not a nobody. You're special. I don't know why, but when I laid my eyes on you, I felt a spark inside me. I-I..... I love you. Even though I don't know your name." 

"I...... love you, too. And my name's (y/n)." 

His eyes lit up. "(Y/n), huh? I love that name." And we both smiled at each other. He leaned in and I didn't resist. Our lips touched and I loved it. After we were done, Link said, "Well, you better get some rest. Renado said you'll be better in a couple days if you stay in bed." Then he gave me a heartwarming smile and left the room. Little did I know that would be the last time I would see that smile for a while.

OMG! Cliffhanger! I'm so evil! *laughs*

Link: Don't worry! I'll make her write the next chapter right now!
Me: Never!
Link: Oh yes you will!
*starts chasing me*
Me: STOP!
Link: Write another chapter!
Me: NO!
*Link tackles me*
Link: Write another chapter! I wanna find out what happens!
Me: FINE! Fine. Just get off me.
Link: YAY! I WIN!
*gets off me smiling*
Me: Ha. Ha, you won. Ugg
*picks up phone, starts to write*
Link: Let me see!
Me: No! Not until I publish it!
Link: Awww............
