Chapter 6

  ~Your POV~

    I opened my eyes and grinned.  Finally! I'll get to have fun with Link! But I have to make sure I don't drag him down. Hopefully my newfound sword skills and powers will help. I yawned and got out of bed. I made a plate of breakfast for me, and one for Link. Then I walked over to his room and knocked on the door. "Wake up sleepy head!" No response. I tried the door and it was unlocked. I walked in and sat the dishes on a table. I walked over to Link and examined him. He is dead asleep. I sighed and got a pail of water. "Look Link, if you don't wake up in the next five seconds, I'm pouring this freezing cold water on you. ONE... TWO... THREE... FOU-" "I'M UP! I'M UP!" I smiled "Good! I made breakfast." I sat the pail down and got two cups. I scooped some water into each cup and gave one to Link, sitting the other on the table. Then I got Link's breakfast and gave it to him. He gobbled it up and I chuckled. "You could take some time to savor it, ya know." Link blushed. "Sorry" I just laughed and started my meal. I couldn't eat it all so I gave the rest to Link who gladly took it after he made sure I was really full. Then I preceded to clean up the room. I had already cleaned up mine, but Link's was a mess! "Are you always this sloppy?" Link blushed. "No, my house is clean!" I laughed and picked up the last of Link's things from the floor. "There. All better." Link chuckled and got out a sword and shield. "Here. You'll need these." "Thanks!" I gladly took the items. "Let's get going! I can't wait to go to Zora's​ Domain!" "Ok! Come on! Oh! First we need to get you a horse!" My heart fell. Umm... I can't exactly ride a horse... "I've never ridden a horse." "Don't worry! It's easy! I'll show you." I gave him a half smile. "Easy for you to say! You've been riding forever!" Link just smiled and grabbed my hand. He practically dragged me to the stable. He let go and walked over to one of the pens. I walked over and silently gasped. The horse was beautiful. She was completely midnight black (like in the picture) except for the bottom of her legs. They were white. She reminded me of the night sky. When you can only see a few stars. "She doesn't have a name, though." I smiled. "How about Twilight?" Twilight snorted what seemed like a yes. "I like that name" Link said. "I wasn't asking you. I was asking Twilight." "Oh..." That made me laugh. I spoke softly to Twilight. "You're my Twilight Princess. Link has Midna and I have you."
