Chapter 4

~Link's POV~

After that nightmare I decided I had my full strength and got ready to go to the castle. Midna popped up and sighed. "I suppose we're going to the castle in the middle of the night." And with that, she disappeared. I slinked around Castle Town and headed for the castle. I slipped past the guards and headed inside. "Hey Midna?" I wispered. "Yeah?" "How come no one knows this place is crawling with monsters?" "Well, to my knowledge, the castle doors closed to visitors. Those guards you slipped past aren't hylian. They're monsters in disguise." I nodded and continued.

~Dark Link's POV~

I went back to her cell to find she was practically healed from yesterday's beating. One of our monsters probably thought she was going to die and knew we needed her, so they healed her. I sighed. "Well we have to make you ready for Link to look at you, now don't we?" She didn't respond as I pulled out my whip.

~Link's POV~

After sneaking around for quite awhile, I walked past a large circular room. Wait. Was that (y/n)? I ran back, and it was you! You were on your knees with your hands tied behind your back. You looked weak and I saw fresh whip marks on you. I gasped. "(Y/N)!" You looked up at me and smiled, but it quickly turned into a frown. Then I noticed Dark Link next to you and growled. I took out my sword and got into a fighting stance. "Now, now, enough of that." Dark Link said and he snapped his fingers and all my stuff disapeared. He laughed and snapped his fingers again. I tried to move but I couldn't. He laughed again. "Like my magic? This is the only time I can use it, but I think it will pay off. Then a sword appeared in his hand and he walked towards you. "NO!" I screamed. Dark Link just laughed. He pulled back his sword, and drove it into your chest. You looked at me with eyes full of fear and pain. I stared into them with the same feelings. Then Dark Link pulled the sword out and walked away, out of sight. I was able to move again and I ran to you. I held you in my arms as you coughed up blood and smiled at me. 'I love you' you mouthed. "I love you, too, (y/n)" I said. I closed my eyes and cried as I felt the life go out of you. When I opened them again, we were in Hyrule Field of and I had all my stuff back. "Dark Link!" I growled. Midna popped up and had a sad look on her face. "Link..." I looked at her. "I think we should bring her and bury her in Kakiriko." I nodded, and called Epona. Even she seemed sad. I got on and with one hand held you, the other guiding Epona, though she didn't need much of it. I went strait in to Renado's house, once again holding you bridal style, except this time you weren't sleeping. Renado looked at me shocked when I barged in. I sunk to my knees and started sobbing. Renado came over and tried to sooth me. "I want a proper burial" is all I said. He nodded and showed me where I could put you. "(Y/n), please... Don't leave me..." Renado frowned and led me outside to pick out flowers.

~Your POV~

Darkness. Darkness. That's all that's here. I'm just floating here. "(Y/n), please...Don't leave me..." My head perked up at the sound of Link's voice. "I will. I promise." I said. Then I started to glow. With a new determination, I willed my self to glow brighter. And I smiled as I opened my eyes. That is, until I realize I'm in an enclosed box. A coffin. I pushed up, but it wouldn't budge. I screamed hoping someone would help me. Nothing. Then I remembered how I came back. Maybe I have other powers. So I focused really hard, and....... nothing. But I didn't give up and I relaxed, trying to not think about it to much, to feel natural. Suddenly, the lid flew off along with dirt and my gravestone in an explosion. I climbed out and glared at my gravestone, causing it to explode and I smiled. Then I ran away from the graveyard, still looking at the rubble that was my gravestone. I ran into something and fell over. "Oww..."
"(Y/N)?!" And the next thing I know, I was being lifted up and squeezed tightly. "to tight... can't breath!" And they immediately let go. Then I looked up and my eyes widened and I immediately embraced Link, crying. "I thought I lost you! How'd you come back?!" Link said. "Yeah... About that."

Bet you didn't see that coming!

Me: Link? Why are you hugging me?
Link: Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Me: for what?
Link: For bringing back (y/n)!
Me: Well it's not like I'm gonna kill off the main character you doofus!
Link: You just did.
Me: ...
Me: ...
Me: ...
Me: ...
Link: You OK?
Me: ...
*blinks*
Me: YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN IDIOT!
*storms off*
Link: *chuckles* Well, since Kaitlyn isn't here to close up, I guess I will!
