Cupcake

I watch as she lays on the bed peacefully, her chest moving up and down, after she passed out, Sam and I both ran for the escape door because I didn't have any backup with me when the attack happened, when we got to our other hideout I got my most trusted doctor to take the bullet out and stitch her wound up so now she is passed out because the painkillers. Shaking my head, I turn around and open the door behind me, 'stay with me cupcake' her soft voice rings out, stopping me from walking out, I turn back around and see her arms stretched out towards me, beckoning me to her warm embrace, I sigh and give in, closing the door behind me I drag my feet tiredly and lay on top of the bed covers, she instantly snuggles up to me and puts her face in my neck, I smile a bit and get a weird emotion but I shrug it off. I slowly put my arms around her and pull her close, inhaling her sweet, intoxicating scent and I slowly doze off. Waking up, I slowly open my eyes and see her face is so close to mine, like I could lean forward and my lips would be on hers, I shudder at the thought. As quietly as I can, I get up and kiss her forehead, earning her mouth to go up into a smile, I panic, thinking she's awake so I quickly walk to the door and open it getting in to the hallway closing the door behind me I let a breath out as I lean against the door. 'I'm catching feelings for the girl and I don't even know! Come on!, my training is going to go to waste because of this' I start getting angry at myself and decide when she wakes up in a couple of hours, I'll ask her if she wants to join me, and if she says no I have to tell her I'll have to kill her.
