Lonley Flower (The Mark Side)

Chapter 2

Lilly looked at her piece of paper and went to her locker. "I guess this is it." She said looking at the locker. She turned the locker to set the combination, and opened it up. She screamed when she saw how dusty it was. She sighed and tried to look for something to clean it.

"You need a towel?" A young boy's voice asked. Lilly turned around and saw Kenny hand her a towel.

Lilly smiled at the boy and took the towel. "T-Thank you." She said shyly.

Kenny smiled. "No problem." He then put his bag in the locker, grabbed his stuff and went to his class. Lilly did the same, but went to the class that she saw on her paper. When she walked in, she stopped in her tracks seeing the class being wild and crazy, looking around the class she found on seat next to two young boys in a jacket. One of the boys was Benjamin, the boy she saw earlier being chased by Mark.

"H-Hi. Are you okay from earlier?" Lilly whispered asking Benjamin.

Benjamin looked at Lilly and nodded. "Yeah, I'm used to it." He said.

"You are?" Lilly asked.

Ben chuckled, he knew she was new; he's never seen her before. "I'm guessing you're new here. I'm Benjamin Washington." He said introducing himself.

"I'm Lillian Turner, but you can call me Lilly." She said introducing herself as well.

"Lilly. Nice to meet you." Ben said.

Lilly smiled. "Thank you. Nice to meet you too Ben." Once the teacher showed up class was ready to begin. It was a simple day so nothing too hard for her, same with the rest of her classes.

Later, at lunch Ashley, was getting her lunch bag out as her friend, Iris came up to her. "Hey Ashley." Iris said coming to her friend.

"Oh hi Iris, what's up?" Ashley asked.

"Frances and I are going to the movies this weekend, want to come along?" Iris asked.

"Sure." Ashley said. "What movie are we going to see?" She asked.

"Well the movie she's always talking about." Iris said smiling nervously. She hoped Ashley would say yes to this, after all its Frances's treat for taking her and Iris out.

"Don't tell me. The movie she's been talking about for two months now." Ashley said.

(THINK OF ANY MOVIE! I DON'T KNOW WHAT MOVIE)

"I know, but I saw the movie had good reviews, and you would like it too. Come on Ashley." Iris said. Ashley looked down, but the two looked up and glared at the person in front of them; Mark.

"Well. Well. Well. Look who is here, the-" Mark stopped at his joke seeing one person was missing? "Uh where is girl #3?" He asked referencing Frances.

"She's at the lunch table waiting for us." Iris said glaring at the man who Ashley dated on and off.

"And were you going to make another joke again, about our friendship on how you have three friends and I only have two, because it's getting old now." Ashley complained frowning at her on and off boyfriend.

"Well it's not my fault you got less friends then I do." Mark said. Iris glared ready to punch Mark in the face, but Ashley held her friend back. "Its not that hard making a new friend." Mark then left the two girls standing there.

Ashley frowned and let go of Iris. "Maybe Mark is right, it's just been you, me and Frances since middle school, it would be nice to have one more friend on the team." Ashley explained as the two walked to lunch.

"Ashley this is Mark were talking about." Iris said putting her hands to her hips.

"I know, but a new friend wouldn't hurt, right?" Ashley asked.

Iris sighed knowing nothing can get to her friend's head. "Fine, but who are we going to find as friend number four?" She asked.

"Don't worry, just leave it to me." Ashley said thinking of a plan.
