In the lunchroom, Lilly sat alone at the table, she already ate her small lunch, and didn't feel hungry afterward, so all she did the rest of the time was look through her sketchbook. At the other table, not to far from Lilly's, Ashley and her friends were talking to each other, until Ashley caught her eyes on Lilly.

"Who is she?" Ashley asked.

Iris smiled. "That's Lilly Turner, she's in me and Frances's art class.

"Yeah." Frances replied. "She's kind of quiet, but what I heard from our teacher, she's very creative." She explained.

Ashley smiled, she finally found her new friend for her and her friends to meet up with. "And she's perfect for our team." She said with a smirk.

Iris and Frances stopped eating and looked at each other. They swallowed their food and faced Ashley with a look of fear in their eyes. "Ashley are you kidding me! Lilly is very, very shy! You can scare her off!" Iris yelled.

"Yeah, and so is Jonathon, and he's with Mark and his friends, so Lilly should join us." Ashley got up from her seat and walked up to Ashley.

Iris glared at her friend. "Rich people."

Ashley sat down in front of Lilly, who the later looked at her nervously. Ashley smiled at Lilly, but it freaked her out. "Uh, hi." Lilly said nervously.

"Hi!" Ashley said with a smile. Lilly was silent and didn't know what to say to Ashley, it was just an awkward smile and silence. "So Lilly," Ashley started. "Do you want to be in a group with me and my friends?!" Ashley asked.

Lilly looked and saw Iris and Frances smiling at her, but quickly she tensed up. "Uh, n-no thanks." She whimpered, she started to put her stuff away in her bag.

Ashley frowned and went to catch up with Lilly. "Wait! Why?" She asked.

"I-I-I." Lilly stuttered moving away from the rich girl.

"I what?" Ashley asked getting closer to the shy young girl.

"I just don't want to join your group!" Lilly yelled and ran off from the lunchroom. After a few seconds of leaving, Ashley felt a wind pass through her like how on cartoons when a person runs pass leaving a windy trail. Ashley glared and went back to her seat, seeing Iris having a smirk on her face drinking apple juice.

"I warned you, Ashley." She said, smugly.

"Quiet, Iris." Ashley said back to her friend. Iris just snickered, and their friend Frances just sighed seeing this is happening again.

Later, after lunch Frances and Iris were in class just having a boring free day. The class just had to catch up on work they missed the following week, and since Frances finished her work, all she did was try and catch up on a good book. Frances looked to her left to see Iris just sleeping like in most of her boring days, but when she looked out the window she saw Lilly alone drawing on a sketchbook instead of being in class. Since, it was a catch up on workday, Frances asked if she could leave the class in order to check up on the new student.

Lilly was just sketching a random character on her book looking down and sad. She didn't notice Frances coming to her.

Frances was nervous saying something to Lilly after what happened with Ashley, and was worried Lilly might react the same to her. Though she did feel sorry for the girl, because just like her she was lonely once. "Hi." Frances said.

Lilly looked up, and for a few seconds of looking at each other, Lilly screamed in fear falling off the bench. "Ow!" Lilly yelled, holding onto her arm.

"Are you okay?" Frances asked, kneeling down to Lilly to help her up. Lilly looked at Frances, and scooted back from her going to her bag, but Frances held onto her hand, gently. "D-Don't be scared! I-I just want to check up on you, that's all." Frances said.

Lilly stopped moving and looked back at Frances. She nodded, and slowly got up with Frances's help. "Thank you." Lilly replied.

"Your welcome." Frances said with a smile. "So should you be in class?" She asked.

Lilly shook her head. "I decided not too, I heard from the teacher it's a catch up day, so I decided to spend my time here drawing." Lilly explained.

"I'm guessing you're in class, 435 like me." Frances said.

Lilly nodded. "Right." She replied. "I'm Lillian, but call me Lilly." She said.

"I'm Frances Hunter, its nice to meet you Lilly." Frances said. Lilly smiled in reply. Frances and Lilly stood around for a few seconds to think of what to say to each other, but so far the two had nothing else to say. Then Frances saw her sketchbook, and new what to ask her. "Is that your sketchbook?"

Lilly looked at her sketchbook, and faced the cover. "Yes. I draw some of my own characters in this book. I got it a few months ago." Lilly explained.

Frances smiled at Lilly, "Wow! You do what I do as well, however, I'm not as good as drawing as you." She said looking down.

Lilly didn't know what to say, she didn't show Frances her drawings, and Frances didn't do the same with her drawings, but she didn't want to seem rude. "I'm sure you are, maybe bring your sketchbook one day, and I'll check it out." She said.

"Really?" Frances asked.

Lilly nodded. "Really." Frances smiled at her friend as a thank you.

"Listen, I'm sorry." Frances started.

"Sorry about what?" Lilly asked.

"My friend, Ashley." When Frances mentioned the name she remembered the girl who came up to ask her to be her friend earlier. "She's never like this, once you meet her a little more, she's very sweet."

"She is?" Lilly asked. Frances nodded in reply. Frances was about to continue on their conversation, but saw the bell rang, and it was time for everyone to get ready and go home. "Well I better get going." Lilly said, as she left the school.

"Hey Lilly!" Frances called out. Lilly turned around and faced her new friend. "Want to hang out at my place today?"
