          Dear Diary,

From far distant lands, lay a kingdom called Matheneya of riches and a corrupted government of advisers, ruled by a ruthless and selfish King and Queen. Half of the subjects were at the brink of starvation, neglected by their rulers. Children were left to die or even worse; enslaved for the sake of lives. A quarter of the other half was fighting at our winning war. Glintheya would surrender their children who would serve us as kitchen maids, more slaves, or soldiers. The infants would be told that their parents abandoned them, and that our army saved them. If the Kingdom of Glintheya shan't surrender, they will all parish. When they do, we can go to the next kingdom, and the next, and the next, forming the conquered lands as our own. We shall push the people away until they are all with us, our without us. The last remaining rebels will be forced to become one of us and turned against eachother. Thus, we will control the world, burning anything in our way. I fear for my own subjects and that the rulers shall find me in my disguise. I fake to be "one of them"

Nevertheless, when there is bad, good will stand up to it.

    Signed,

  Queen of Arentheya, Daniela

Princess May's POV:

I know that most people shouldn't remember their childhood as an infant, but I do. No one believes me. My teachers would tell me, "Stop daydreaming, you stubborn child." but I'm not dreaming. Or they would say, "It's all make believe. I don't have time for fantasizing or stupidity." I just want to be understood. I want to know where these flashbacks keep coming from.

"Now, what did I lecture on last fall?" Madame Smith strictly asked. She expected me to remember everything. Every little detail of everything. It's already enough that I have to have my lessons from sun up until sun down six days a week. I have to study for five hours on my day off and remember everything I learn. "Which month?" I respectfully responded. I don't understand how Professer Smith can be so forgetful, yet she remains memorable of what she taught me in the past.

"September." She sulked with her head high. I nodded in silence. "The history of the Glintheya war between Idana." Madame began to prance around on my bedroom balcony, where I am taught each day. She cleared her throat, "Stand, child." She softly instructed awhile she held out her small wrinkled hands to me.

Professer Smith and I were very close ever since I was a young girl. She was my favorite teacher of all. She has rough spots, but she was like the mother I never got to have. Madame can also be kind, and knows right from wrong. I'd hate to be a ruler with the heart or one of my parents. She never told me her first name, although I don't know why. She prefers to keep her identity a secret.

I looked into her beautifully chocolate brown eyes. They sparkled like a lake of jewels. I slightly lifted my white skirt that dragged on the ground. It was nightfall, my lessons were over. I held her two hands as she walked backwards towards to balcony railing. She stopped in her tracks when it was behind her, touching her emerald green long silk dress. Madame let go of one hand and let me to the marble balcony rails as if she were the man leading in a waltzing dance. "It was an honor to watch you grow." She softly whispered into my ear, "Look down at your future kingdom. Soon, within a week, you will come of age to take over your kingdom. If not, your sister, or Grand Dutchess Valory." Professer Smith began to stroke my face with her free hand. "This was your last lesson, but don't be afra-" I was quick to inturupt, "Does this mean I'll never see you again?" I nearly broke into tears. "No. No." Madame said to me, "I will become your lady in waiting." She smiled, "I will see you more!" Madame Smith let go of my other hand. She curtsyed before leaving the marble balcony. "Goodbye, Your Majesty." I could hear her shoes clomping on the quarts floor before the door to my room closed. I placed my hands onto the railing and glanced at all the people. This part of the kingdom was beautiful. I've never seen the other parts before. The people were all close or relatives of  those in the government advisory.
