Nightmares of the past ( Betrayed By You Sequel)

Chapter One

The sunlight seeped through the flap in the curtain, aiming its rays directly on the bed, making its occupant groan and roll over.

Sakura grumbled, opening her red, puffy eyes to look at her alarm clock, just five minutes away from letting out it's shrill cry. She dismissed it and quite literally rolled out of her bed, leaving her other occupant to roll on to her spot.

Her cell phone rang and she immediately froze up.
Sasori, who was in her bed, snapped his eyes open automatically and grabbed the phone immediately.
He relaxed as soon as he saw the name Itachi on the screen.

Walking over to his sister, who was still rooted to the spot, he slid the answer button and held the phone to his ear.
" Hello?." He asked rather sleepily.

There was a pause, before Itachi chuckled.
"Good morning Sasori.".

Sasori yawned, wrapping his arms around his sister, trying to get her body to become less...petrified.

" Morning too you too, Itachi, before anything else, we're still on for lunch today right?." He asked.

" Yea, we are, what's the problem?. "

Sasori hesitant for a minute, finally sighed, keeping secrets was never good for ones health.

" I'll explain it to all of you guys, when meet up, okay?." He stated.

Itachi hummed on the other line.
Alright, please wish my queen a good morning and tell her that I can't wait to see her at lunch. " he paused. " damn when did I became such a sap?."

Sasori snickered.
"Since you started dating my sister, I'll see you later Itachi. " and with that he hung up, and placed  his chin on Sakura's head and rubbed her arms.

" Its Alright, princess it was just Itachi. " he whispered.
Sakura let out a shuddering breath as she visibly relaxed.

"Alright, go get ready, let's go get breakfast, before mom yells." Sasori joked.

"Kids! Breakfast is ready!." Right on cue.

" See what I mean." He sighed dramatically, causing Sakura to giggle. Sasori smiled, finally!. She hasn't smiled, since yesterday.

He kissed her forehead and pushed her into the bathroom.
" Get going, I'm going to get Sai and help mom." He said.

Sakura nodded, walking into the bathroom, but stopped when Sasori called again. She turned to see her older brother sigh and run his hand through his hair.
He looked at her, right in her eyes.

" We are telling Mom, Sakura no more hiding this, okay." He stated, very seriously.

She swallowed and nodded.
Sasori smiled.

" Good, now go shower. "Was the last thing he said, before going out the room.

At breakfast it was quiet, Sai and Sasori sat on both sides of Sakura as they ate, which Their mom found cute but strange.

" Honey?. What's wrong?." Sayuri asked, as she took a sip of her tea.

Sasori and Sai stiffen immediately.
They saw this coming.

Sakura curled into Sai's side as Sasori looked at their mom with a serious expression.

"We need to talk, mom." He stated calmly.

Sayuri picked up her dish, and began to walk towards the kitchen.
"About what, sweetheart?." She asked.

" He's back."

Sayuri blinked as she kept walking.
"Who is?."

" Dad. " Sasori all but snarled.

The sound of plate hitting the floor was heard through out the house hold.
The three siblings leaped up from their seats and rushed into the kitchen.

"Mom?." Sai called.
Their mother was leaning the counter, her hands over her mouth as tears dripped from her eyes.

"Why?!. When we were finally getting along with our lives, that man has to be back." She sobbed.

"Oh, mama." Sakura cried, stepping up to embrace her mother. Sayuri wrapped arms around her and let the tears fall freely.

"There's more to it, mom." Sasori sneered.

Sayuri nodded for him to continue, but looked at her second son, who was shaking with barely contained fury.

"Sai, honey, what is it?." She asked
"What is it you two are hiding from me?." She demanded.

Sai took a deep breathe, and let it out before looking at his mother, feeling the feelings fight to let go.
His eyes blurred, tears threatening to spill.

"If we tell you momma, promise us, you'll let us protect you." Sai said, the tears finally spilling.

Sayuri, nodded a bit reluctantly.

Sasori, walked up to his mother and sister and took them in his arms.

" He's going after Sakura, momma." He said.

Sayuri tightened her arms around her daughter, and shook her head, this can't be happening.

Sasori held out his hand to Sai, and as soon as Sai took it, he pulled him into the hug.

" He's been calling her phone, since yesterday!. And its making her paranoid. " he sobbed.

Sai loves his family very, very much, he'll do anything to protect them.

Sayuri, sniffles and reaches over kiss his forehead.
" I promised you, didn't I?. I'm trusting you two will protect both Me and your sister." She smiled, tear filled and beautiful.

Sasori Nuzzled, his mothers hair.
"Of course mom, he won't step foot near us while I'm alive and breathing."

And with anything he says, Sasori always pulls through with his threats.

" As even if he does, I will rip him apart. "
