Chapter 31

"Am I too old to date?."

Sakura stopped dead in her tracks and slowly turned her head to look at her mom, her hands crossed and a pout on her lips, she looked ridiculously cute.

Sasori and Sai both choked on their ice cream and started coughing loudly.

"Say what now?." Sai asked.

His mother gave him a put off look and huffed.
"I asked if I'm to old to date."

"You want to date?." Sasori deadpanned.
"Woman, you got three grown kids already."

Sakura blinked and crossed the distance between her and her mom.
"Ignore Saso-nii mama." She said giving her brothers a teasing look.
"But why would you wanna date at your age? Not saying you can't."

Sayuri shrugged.
" I just want to enjoy life a bit."

Sakura shook her head and pressed her lips against her mother's forehead before pulling back.

"Okay you are not too old to date." She promised.
" but I swear to Kami mama, bring any guy who wants to rule this household and us, he's gonna end up dead. "

" literally." Sai chirped. That had their mother laughing.

"You know." Ino bemoaned
"There is no 'I' in happiness."

Temari leaned over to get a look at her fellow blonde's book.
"There is if you fucking spell it right." She said dryly.

Ino grinned sheepishly at her own mistake and grabbed the eraser from her pencil case and rubbed it off.

"That's not nice words Temari." Hinata commented.
Temari turned to her with a bored look.

"I'm not nice." She said sliding the pair of glasses she had on top her head onto her nose.
"Deal with it beyotch."

That had the girls giggling.

At lunch Ino was doing some spying.
"The young male, in his natural habitat seems to be excited about something. The young male appears to be jumping, some believe this to be some kind mating dance-."

" Ino!, shut the hell up would you?." Sakura snapped.
The blonde pouted

"Seriously what is with you?." Teny asked.

"Naruto is getting on really weird." Was the reply.

"And that's something new?." Temari asked, munching on a Fry.

Ino rolled her eyes and pointed in said direction. They all turned their gazes to see Naruto jumping around a laughing Nanami, grinning like a loon.

"Oh." Konan comments " I see your point Ino."

They bursted out into laughter the very next second.
Knowing Naruto, he was working himself up over something childish, che typical Blondie.

"Ugh." Teny groaned " here comes trouble. "
And indeed Talia and her team was heading in their direction, oh joy.

"God." Sakura began.
"Grant me the serenity to accept the stupid people as they are, the courage to maintain self control and the wisdom to know that if I act on it, I will end up in jail."

Temari snorted with laughter.
"I like that." She grinned.

"Ah, if it isn't the band of misfits." Talia greeted earning herself unimpressed looks.

"What is you problem?." Konan asked glaring at the girl who looked taken aback.

"We didn't come here for a fight, not yet any way."
She smirked
"Which one of you would be facing me in the hand to hand combat contest?."

Everyone turned to look at Sakura, whose eyes lit up like a fucking Christmas tree.
Oh LA LA, this was a good opportunity to release some of the stress and anger she been feeling the past few days.

"Hmm, that will be me then." She said with a dark smirk.
"Not run along, well meet again when it's time for the contest."

Talia bristled at the rude dismissal but otherwise didn't say anything.

Konan looked at Sakura and held her palm up
" Give her hell."

Sakura grinned and connected their palms in a sick high five. That was exactly what she intended to do.

Ino came to a halt as she strolled through the hallways and squinted in front of her.
Was that Sai?.
Indeed it was and it looks like that Sara girl was hitting on him
Oh, Sakura would so pop a vein at this.

She strolled froward and calmly grab Sai by the arm and dragged him behind her
It was always like this, the guys and their I-must-not-hit-girls rules. So it was up to them for such confrontation.

"Ah, hello Missy. So sorry, but I must borrow him." She smiled before dragging her hostage away, smiling when Sai shot her a grateful look and allowed himself to be dragged away, if it meant far away form that nutcase then Sai would happily go.

Man, tomorrow Sakura was going to  kill Talia for Itachi and for her stupid teammates hitting on her brothers.

Ha, oh yes it was gonna be good.
Now all she had to do is find Sakura and  inform her of the unfortunate predicament Sai was in and viola! Instant madness.

It was gonna be fun.

Lol here's another update guys..
The ideas kept popping in and I keep writing them down.

So sorry for the short chappy, but my battery was about to die so I typed this really fast and got it posted.
