When Sakura gave its-okay-everything- in- the-universe- is -okay. Smile, TenTen, Temari and Konan immediately knew that something was wrong.

Now getting it out of the pink haired girl was another question.

"Mikoto-kaa-chan?." Temari asked as she saw the older woman pass by. "Is there something wrong with Itachi?."

Said woman hummed thoughtfully as she began making lunch.
"Now that you mentioned it, he has been a bit busy lately.."

Temari nodded, her head tipped to the side as she regarded this.

Time to get some answers out of Pein.

Sakura knew that she shouldn't be having these kinda of depressing thoughts, and that how Madara would smack her over the head if he knew. But she can't help it. The dark thoughts were getting out of control.

Pretty soon, she'll be worrying about the day that Itachi decided that he wanted someone new and be finished with her. That alone scared her.

So, the question Is where the hell is her lover right now?.

"Cheer up Sakura-chan." Naruto smiled from besides her, throwing his arm around her shoulders and shaking her a bit.
"He'll be here soon enough."

Sakura rolled here eyes but calmed down anyways, Naruto was right no need to be getting worked up about something that she didn't know about yet.

Lunch was about to start, and TenTen was worried, her eyes rested on a napping Sakura at her desk. With a slight remorseful smile She woke her sister up to get lunch.

She'll get answers later for sure.

There was a new girl apparently in class, Hitomi Uchiha was her name, one of Shisui and Obito's distant cousin. Sakura was puzzled as to why the girl was here and frowned before realization hit her.

Another bride for Itachi. Apparently the elders didn't know when to give up.

Now that got her mood down to zero, her lips formed into a pout as she picked at her lunch.
The Akatsuki all gave her concerned looks but she didn't meet non of their eyes..

Hitomi, it seems was a very spoiled girl, smug to. She sent Sakura winks and sneers, Sakura snorted, knowing very well that she could take her ass out if she wanted to, instead she ignored the attention hog and opted to worry about her boy's  busy schedule as of late.

It was nearing the end of lunch when Itachi stepped Into the café and hitomi immediately screamed, getting up to tackle him but Itachi swiftly side stepped her, causing her to face plant Into the hard concrete.

There were gasps all around, only the Snickers of the Akatsuki was heard and they weren't trying to hide their amusement.

All eyes locked onto itachi as he stepped up behind a depressed Sakura. Clearing his throat.

"Sakura, a word?."

Sakura froze, her muscles coiling as she heard him address her with such a cold tone, she looked up and saw Pein and Sasori give her encouraging nods.

She stood a bit shakily, her back hurts from where she was bent over. And turned to face the elder Uchiha, his eyes drilling into hers, before the onyx orbs warmed considerably. She stumbled a bit backwards, only Kiba and Gaara's hands on the small of her back stopped her from toppling onto the table.

Everyone held their breaths as Itachi grabbed her hands and very slowly slid down onto one knee before her.
Sharp inhales echoed as the Uchiha heir smiled up at his girlfriend.

"Sakura." He began, his voice like smooth chocolate that had some girls swooning, " My lovely, beautiful Queen.. I know that I have been busy for the last few days but I was in no way neglecting you."

He took a deep breath and let it go, damn he was an Uchiha, and Uchiha do not get nervous. In spite of that he still plunged on.

"Dearest, Sakura, apple of my eye.. I know the day we meet may have not be the nicest or the calmest. We were ready to tear each others throat out to be quite honest." That earn him some chuckles.
"You were just getting out of a disastrous relationship and your heart was broken, and I wanted to help you, claim you as mine, ease your worries and give you all the happiness in the world, but due to our fighting I could come through to you, but that day on the school's roof, trust was made and your heart was slowly beginning to heal." He kissed her knuckles tenderly that had Sakura taking a sharp breath.
"It wasn't easy at first, that was for sure, we both still had a few ups and downs but in the end, this is where it got us.. So." He stopped, letting go of one of her left hand to dig around his pocket and pulled out a little blue box.
He grinned roguishly up at the still speechless girl and opened the box and  propped his elbow on his bent knee.

"So, Sakura Akasuna, love of my life, holder of my heart, would you do me the favor of changing your last name to Uchiha and becoming my beautiful wife?."

He opened the box to reveal a sliver ring, and a pretty pale emerald diamond sat in the middle, squished between two smaller sliver diamonds, it was extremely beautiful, the emerald matching Sakura's eyes perfectly.

Sakura pressed a fist against her mouth to stop any sounds from coming out before taking a shaky breath.

"I should smack you silly for worrying me sick these past few days." She muttered sharply, reaching down to smack him over the head before sinking down onto her own knees and taking his face in her palms
"But, you are very lucky that I love you very much, so yes Mr Uchiha I will marry your stupid ass."

And she sealed the deal with a kiss, that had the place erupting with cheers mostly lead by Ino and Konan. TenTen and Temari high fived each other while rubbing their noses.

"Damn." Hidan whined. " who won the bet about her hitting him."

Neji raised his arm with a sly smirk and grinned as Kiba passed him the cash while grumbling, he laughed as Gaara gave him a raised eyebrow, but he only laughed and pressed a kiss to the red heads lips before leaning against him and pocketing his cash from Kakuzu's wandering eyes.

Sakura hummed at that, that they were betting on her and her reaction, interesting.. She's gonna kick their money loving asses later and Kakuzu wasn't an exception this time.

Hitomi stomped over to them angrily.
"What is the meaning of this?." She screeched " You are to marry me!."

Sasori and Sai appeared between her while Nanami and Konan  pushed the girl backwards.
"I don't care what you think, Itachi Uchiha is unavailable and is currently engaged." Konan said darkly.

"So?."

"So?." TenTen and Temari said together cracking their knuckles
"That means he's off limits, so go find some other guy to satisfy you, cause you stay around here any longer, I can't promise you that you'll leave in exactly one piece."

Hitomi gulped, the glares directed at her were scary, was this the darkness of the Akatsuki?. Protect their loved ones viciously.

"One more thing." Shisui said gaining her attention.
"Tell the council to take there plans for Itachi and shove it where the light doesn't shine.. If they continue to purse Itachi." His Sharingan flashed. "I won't be able to stop him if anything happens to our kitten over here."

Hitomi squeaked before running out of the café, the door swinging at her exit, everyone watched her go before going to congratulate the couple...

"We still need to do one thing though." Sakura hummed.

"What's that?." Hidan asked.

"TenTen, we got to have some papers sighed up."

"For what?." Hinata asked.

Sakura grinned.
"For Tsurumi to join us at university of course!."

No one seemed to miss the way Sai's face light up at that announcement.
