Chapter 61

First of all I am so very sorry for the late update.
First being.

I had to work weekends straight and second being.

I got a new phone!
Meaning I had to get all my stuff back,  which is a lot.

Neji was a bit confused at first,  well that and Gaara could be damn well distracting when he's hungry for attention.  But Neji saw it, the shy looks Hanabi was sending Shikamaru when she thought no one was looking.

Could it be, that his little cousin might have developed a crush on the Shadow user?. If so how would Shikamaru feel about this?.

Ahhh, this was so complicated,  it was giving him a headache.

Sakura hummed a little as she hopped down the step of her home, the smell of breakfast assaulting her nostrils made her smile and hurry the last few steps down.

The sight that greeted her warmed her heart,  Sasori, Sai, her mom,  Helena and Hana were already sitting around the table,  chattering amongst themselves.

"good morning, sweetheart. " her mom greeted with a smile,  gesturing for her to sit as the rest of them all said the same.

"morning. " she replied as she sat,  and soon began digging into the delicious smelling breakfast.

"now that the councils been dealt  with,  what'd gonna happen now?. " Sai asked.

Sakura grinned, and for the first time she made her brothers reel back startled.
"time for TenTen and Deidara wedding."

Sasori smiled at that,  it was about time those two toed the knot.
"I'm in. When is it?."

Sakura looked thoughtful for a minute or two.
"I'm not sure. I gotta ask TenTen. "

Sai laughed at that and the atmosphere was all warm around them.

Temari gave TenTen, who was fidgeting a deadpan look,  clearly stating that the blonde was about to strangle her best friend.

"TenTen, be a dear and just try on the damn dress!. " she seethed.
Tenten jumped and stuck her tongue out at her.

"Chill your tits sis," TenTen patronized.
"I'm just deciding on which one. "

"For the past two hours!?. "

The brown haired girl just shrugged. And Temari faced palmed.
"Where the hell is Ino when you need her?. " she mumbled.

And as if the other blonde heard her,  Ino suddenly appeared besides her out of literally nowhere.
"You called?. "

Temari swears to all the gods as she leaps away.
Her eyes focused on Ino and she glared cats and dogs at her.

"when the hell did you get here?. "she said, a hand to her heart that was already racing down a track.

"oh, I was here all the time." Ino said cheekily.
"I was just waiting for when one of you hopeless people  to call me."

Now Temari wanted to strangle her sister,  the bitch was here all along and instead of actually coming to help them,  the idiot decides to sit back and watch them suffer.

But instead she took a deep, calming breath and pointed to TenTen who was highly amused by there antics.
"just help that hopeless idiot out will you?. "

"Oi!. "

Ino grinned and began advancing on TenTen in predatory steps.
Which made said girl to back away slightly.
"Ino, I swear to god, I will kill you if you mess me up. "

She gave TenTen a mock hurt look.
"Now now,  don't you have any faith in me dear sister?. "

She got a flat look on response.
"do you really want me to answer that?. "

Ino grinned and set out to do what she does best.
And by the end of it all,  TenTen was dressed in a beautiful cream coloured dress, lace and ribbons decorating the edges, small Kunai designs, looked as if there were made out of cotton were hanging off the sides and up the waist.
The dress flared out a bit at the waist and fit her perfectly,  the top piece was decorated with lace by the shoulders and at the center of her chest sat a little pendent of the initials T and D.

That alone had TenTen fighting back tears as she realized that this was the perfect dress for her.

"Wow. " Temari whistled, impressed.
"that's just perfect,  where did you get this Ino?. "

Said girl just smiled.
"I had it designed the day Deidara proposed to Teny, I knew it would come in handy."

She gave a startled laugh as Teny suddenly tackled her in a huge hug.
"thank you so much for this Ino, I can't thank you enough. "

Ino patted her back and hugged her back just as tightly.
"think nothing of it sis,  I wanted to see you in this dress and I want you happy on your wedding. "

Temari smiled at her and joined the hug.
"thanks for this Ino."

"You're welcome guys. "

Sakura loved the dress,  judging form the fact that she keep smiling and giving TenTen winks.

"so when are we going to do this?. " she asked.

"Dei said he wants to do it two days from now, that he's tired of waiting. " Hinata said smiling.

Sakura grinned.
"then, we got work to do, don't we?. "

And from then the next two days were hectic,  school was forgotten for the time being, and instead all the time was concentrated on TenTen and Deidara.

"I hate wearing wedding clothes. " Kisame said tugging at his tie.

"Deal with it. " Sasori said.
"now shut up. " he motioned to the ceremony that was currently going on.

Deidara and TenTen were so focused on each,  it was sweet as they both listened to the priest.
"do you Deidara Iwa, take miss TenTen Inuzuka as your lawfully wedded wife through health and sickness, through this life and the next?.

Said man smiled.
"I do. "

"do you TenTen Inuzuka take Mr Deidara Iwa as your lawfully wedded husband through health and sickness, through this life and the next?. "

"I do. " she said smiling brightly as Deidara slid the ring onto her finger.

"then by power invested in me,  I hereby pronounce you husband and wife, now you may kiss the bride. "

The cheers started as Deidara tugged her close and kissed her firmly.

Sakura and the girls were cheering the most as the two walked down the small aisle.

And as TenTen turned around, and threw her bouquet behind her,  it landed in Temari's arms,  the girls all cheered louder.

Leaving Temari bright red, even as Pein gave her a wink and a smirk,  promising her with his eyes.

Tenten laughed, hugging Kiba tightly even as tears flowed down her cheeks.

"don't worry. " he said eyes moist
"He doesn't get you yet,  you still live with me until you're of age,  so he can sit still with just being able to marry you. "

Tenten choked on a sob as she hugged him close.
"I love you." she said smiling.
"so very much, my brother, my life, my protector. "

He kissed her forehead and hugged her close to him.
"I love you very much also,  my little sister, my life, my sweetheart. "

The others smiled at the display,  proving that everyone one of them had huge siblings complexes.

Deidara just smiled,  he had no problem with living separate, until they both legalize to live together, he had no right to rip TenTen  away from her brother,  not that he ever will.

The future held a lot for them,  he could tell.
