As soon as his lips left hers, she knew it was a mistake. The whole world had the odds stacked against them, their love could never be. She did love him but she there was no option. Kissing was a mistake, telling him the truth was a mistake. Tears welled in her eyes knowing that the kiss could never happen again. She had no choice, she may have loved him but his life was worth more to her. She ran as fast as she could away from Zach, away from the only happiness she had ever known, no matter how short their time was together. Running away from him would make his life easier, that's all she cared about. Needing his love was the worst mistake she had ever made. Her breathe quickly shortened, she had to stop running. She found a rock to lay on, catching her breath. When she finally regaining strength, she heard footsteps coming towards her. Scared for her life, she hid from whatever was coming near her. She started to calm down once she heard the relieving voice that was near.
