Zach: the rage

Letting go of his beloved Ari was the hardest thing to do. Thinking to himself that this might be the last time he hugged his love, the last time he would kiss her sweet lips. He loved pulling her tiny body into long hugs and never wanted to let go. The only thing he wanted to do was see her beautiful face and see her gorgeous smile again. He loved her with all his heart and couldn't bare to see her be with the muscular idiot downstairs. Once he let her tiny body slip from his grasp, he kissed her forehead and said "I love you, Ari. I'll see you tomorrow." She nodded as he walked out the room. He thought of Ari and him getting married and waking up to her beautiful face every morning. Smiling as he imagined their future was quickly halted by the boy waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs. The boy looked at him with a sinister smile that sent chills up Zach's spine. The boy just looked at him and said "Hey, I'm Cody, I saw you upstairs with Ari. Are you one of her friends?" Zach was insulted, Ari and him were way more than friends, she was his entire life, all that he had been waiting for. He just said back "Hey, I'm Zach and no I'm not just her friend. Ari is the love of my life and I love her more than anything in this world. Stay away from my girl or I'll make you regret it." Cody looked back at him with that same sinister smile, the one he vowed to keep Ari from. He would never be good enough to take her away. Cody said back with such spite "How old are you, Zach. You look about 18 to me. Why are you hitting Ari? She's a child and you're an adult. Let her live and stop being a pervert. She probably thinks you're a creep. You should just leave now." Zach was furious, Ari loves him with all her heart, who does this idiot think he is criticizing their love. He knows he shouldn't hit him but he was too mad to care. He clenched his fists and punched Cody in in face. Zach smiled and said "That'll teach you to stay away from my girl. She loves me more than you'll ever know so back off." He regretted hitting him as soon as he did it, what would Ari think if he already hit 2 people in their first day of knowing each other. Ari came running down the stairs, she was obviously crying. Seeing tears roll down her face made him so angry. She looked up at him and said "What happened Zach? Are you okay? Tell me the truth, I don't want even hear his side." He smiled at the her as he put his arms around her and said "He tried to say that you hated me and that I should just leave you. I could never leave you Ari and I didn't want to believe you hated me. Please forgive me for hitting him, I just need you to stay with me. I need you and I love you so much. I just wanted to protect you." She looked scared but a smile appeared on her face as she said "I believe you Zach. I know you were only trying to protect me. Please stay with me tonight, I'll talk to my mom about Cody. I need you here right now." How could he say no to that beautiful face. He just looked down at her and smiled saying "of course I will." He pulled her in close and gave her the biggest hug ever. God he loved this girl.
