Ari: the new boy

"Ari we found your soulmate" The words kept replaying on her mind, over and over again. Was this a joke, are the spirits punishing her for kissing Zach? She was in total shock, who was this mystery boy her mom had found? She had finally accepted Zach and their love and now a new obstacle stood in their way. She walked into the living room to see a tall muscular boy sitting on her couch. She had to admit, he was really cut but she loved Zach, or did she? The boy walked over to her, making her heart race. He looked down at her and said "Hi, I'm Cody. I'm 17 and I've been looking for you my entire life. Your parents have told me a lot about you and I really think that we would be perfect together if you give me a chance." He flashed a huge smile that made her heart skip a beat. She didn't know what to say, Zach and her had fire and passion that was so evident but Cody looked exactly like the dreams she had when she was little about her soul mate. Reminiscing about her childhood fantasies, she remembered one dream in particular: she was sitting by the ocean; the salty ocean hit her cold back as she ran through the water. She was actually smiling and happy, a feeling she had never felt before meeting Zach. She remembers looking over and seeing him, the boy of her dreams: dark brown hair, muscular and strong with kind, brown eyes. They were splashing each other in the water and having a blast. She remembers waking up and telling her mom all about the boy from her dreams. All her mother did was laugh and dismiss the idea of her ever finding true love. Little did she know that not only does Ari have one boy after her heart, she has two. She quickly replied with "Mother can I please speak to you in the kitchen." Her mother reluctantly agreed to speak to her apprehensive daughter. She looked into her mother's blue eyes, the same eyes she wished for on every shooting star that came by her room at night, hoping that having those eyes would help her find her true love. She said to her mother "Mom, there's something I need to tell you about the boy that was on the porch with me, his name is Zach he is 18 years old and he is my REAL soulmate. I found him in one of my classes today and he had the same mark as me. He saved me from Blake when he was trying to attack me again. We kissed and as soon as it was over, I ran away. He ran after me and laid his heart on the line and I stumbled with the right words to respond with. I know that you would never approve of his age or anything about us being together because it would hurt your image in society but I love him mom and I can't imagine life without him." Tears we're streaming down Ari's face, fearing for their love. Her mother just looked down at her and said "You better start imagining it because you're not staying together Ari." She couldn't take it, she ran to her room and cried herself to sleep, praying that she could see Zach again.
