I woke up to the sound of humming birds outside our window, I looked to the side to see what time it was, 1:30 'wow I really spent most of my day sleeping . Draco was still sleeping so I carefully got out of bed to see what father was doing, I was trying so hard not to wake Draco up, I didn't want him fussing over me.
I made my way to fathers potions lab, I knew he was there he doesn't do anything else except make potions and since today I wanted to spent more time with father I decided I would help him with whatever he was making or even challenge him.
"father you in there?"
"yes come in Alex"
when I opened the door I was unprepared for the surprise that awaited me, all my god fathers and my god mother was there. I could barely say anything I was in too much shock to comprehend what was happening the only words that came out my mouth was
"well this is a surprise" saying this just made them laugh which surprised me because I never thought I would see the day when Voldemort of all people laugh a genuine laugh I scanned the room to see who else was there and I found Sirius I ran up to him and hugged him as hard as I could I missed him.
" Sirius I missed you" I said through quiet sobs he hugged me with equal force
"I missed you too pup" he said smiling
everyone was watching me with eyes full of love I liked it everyone was having a relaxed convocation with me and tom riddle he wasn't bad at all and we got onto the topic of potions and of course father had to say that I was terrible but I decided today was the day I prove him, I decided I was able to do the 7th year potions I was so deep in though that I didn't notice the pair of slender arms snap around my waist I was so startled that I jumped out of my seat and fell straight on the ground which made everyone laugh but I looked at them with an annoyed expression.
" what the hell was that for Draco!" I yelled at my mate
" sorry I wanted to surprise you but I didn't realise this is how you wound react" he replied though fits of laughter
" you could have been more subtle, anyways before you rudely interrupted me I was about to say to father that I am actually really good at potion I just pretended like I wasn't to annoy you" I said with a smirk plastered on my face because I knew he was going to test me.
"I don't believe you, but ill test you to see if this is true you, will have to make 6 potions in 4 hour or less and they will all have to be perfect, these potions will be: Amortentia, confusing concoction, felix felicis, hiccoughing potion, pepperup potion and polyjuice potion. starting now the books to make this is on the self over there."
This was going to be fun I know every single 7 year potion there is to know so I naturally knew all the ingredients I needed I smirked as everyone watched me pass the book and when straight for the ingredients father and Draco were shocked more than anyone else.
2 hours later and I was done with all 7 of the potions
" how is this possible you made all the 7th year potions in half the time given, not to mention it is more than perfect and you didn't even look in the book meaning you knew it off by heart your even better than Draco and basically the same level as me I'm impressed " father said in a proud tone
"well that's the one thing I was better than you at and now you ruined it" Draco was in a sulky mood at this point but I only laughed and when to sit with him
"hey its not my fault your terrible at everything " I said whilst laughing and everyone else joined in Draco on the other hand buried his head into my chest
aunt Bella was cooing under her breath but I could hear her which made me blush a deep red which only make her do I even more.
====== TIME SKIP =======
Aunt Bella and everyone left but before they went they gave me and Draco a two way mirror so we can talk to them whenever we want I had a great time and I bonded closer to both Draco and father.
The hours passed with more talking with father until I slowly drifted to sleep in the conforting arms of my destined mate.
