Chapter 22

Niall's Pov

The door got open and it revealed a happy Demi

"Dad, Mom and Maddie say get well soon" she said

"Cool? Nice?" I said

"Yeah"

"Niall?"

"Demi?"

"The doctor said you can get out tomorrow"

"Can't I go out today?!"

"Nope. The doctor said they have to keep you here today so they can make you sure you go out fine"

Demi's Pov

"Demi, this guy is asking for you" Liam said, I turned around and saw Derek standing

"What the- What brought you here?" I asked him as I stood up

"Came to see Niall?" Derek said, I looked over at Niall and saw him looking confused, I sighed

"Niall, this is Derek, my brother" I said, Niall forced a smile, then I turned back to Derek

"How did you know which hospital Niall's in?!" I asked him

"Uh...Dad told me?" he said rolling his eyes, I sighed again

"So, hi Niall" he turned his gaze to Niall who is lying there on the bed

"Hello" 

"How are you doing?"

"Fine?"

"Cool?"

And that's how their conversation went out, then Derek said bye and Niall did the same

*A WEEK LATER*

Niall's Pov

Demi said that I'm going to have dinner with her parents, so Derek can get to know me more, I mean I found him rude, just to be honest. I'm on my way now, I wanted to take Liam with me but he had a date with Danielle, lucky me.

When I got there I rang the doorbell, stood there like an idiot with flowers and chocolates until Demi opened the door

"I'm scared that Derek won't like you" she said nervously

"Why won't he?! I have 30K Twitter followers!" I Said calmly, even though inside of me I'm nervous like hell, Demi told me to come, when I came in I saw Derek and Demi's parents sitting on the couch, as they saw me they stood up. 

"Hello Niall" Dianna said, I hugged her and did the same with her father, now it's Derek's turn, he hugged me. I was a bit surprised to be honest, as I said I think he's annoying

"Sit" Dianna said and smiled, I sat between Demi and her father

"How are you doing Niall?" Eddie asked

"I'm doing well" I answered his question, smiling

"How are your grades at school?" Derek asked, I knew he's trying to make it sound not harsh as possible

"I get straight A'S But sometimes B+, I'm gonna graduate next week though" I answered

"Good" Derek mumbled to himself

"How did you meet Demi?" Derek asked, I saw Demi's cheeks turn a little red

"At a concert, I wasn't a fan..but my friend Harry forced me to come and we accidentally bumped..that's how it started" I said smiling, Derek smiled

"Aren't you thinking of getting married?" Derek asked with a smirk, my eyes widened, I looked at Demi and saw her face palm herself and now her face was red, she was blushing hard and I was too. I mean, I don't think it's early, but I'm still young and so is Demi. We still have much to do together, even though we did much

But the thing is

If I said it's too early, they'll think I don't love Demi

If I said it's time, I'll be lying and I know Demi isn't ready either

"We will talk about that when we think it's time, but I think we still have too much to talk about, I do love Demi. But I think it's early" I said and after that I looked at Demi, she had a smiled and gave me a thumbs up, Derek smiled too

"Let's eat" Eddie said and we all made our way to the table to eat. Yummy! pasta

As I was eating, I made sure I'm eating slowly, because if I'm eating somewhere else. I devour it.

After we finished, we watched a movie then it was time for me to leave

"By the way, Demi you'll have to meet my sister sometime. She said she's a fan and would like to meet you" I said after we got out her house, so she can give me a proper goodbye

"Cool. Maybe at your graduation" she replied with a smiled

"Oh, and let's go on a date tomorrow, pick you up at 6" 

"Sure, by the way Christmas is next month, let's spend it together"

"New year too" I smiled before I kissed her so I Can leave now, I said my goodbye and drove off.
