Chapter 27

(A/N Okay so, the next chapter will be the epilogue. I'll try make it as big as I can, I hope you like this chapter :3)

Demi's Pov

Here I am, sitting on my couch, Selena's parents next to me, Niall on my other side and Harry sitting on the chair. All of us are crying, except Niall who is tearing up but comforting me, but that isn't helping.

Why did you have to die Selena? 

Fate, that's life

It takes away your loved ones, if I saw Joe again in my life, I don't know what I'll do to him.

"Demi stop crying please, you're making me worried" Niall said concerned, I shrugged..how can I stop crying

But now I decided to just move on from Selena's death, it'll be hard but I'll have to move on with life.

I nodded slightly and Niall gave me a smile, I pointed at Harry and Niall nodded before making his way to Harry, Harry has to move on too, but it'll be hard.

I patted Selena's mother back, who can't stop crying from the moment she knew Selena died.

I don't like to see people crying, even strangers

"She's in a better place now" I said loudly enouch for Selena's parents and Harry to listen, but that didn't make any difference, the sound of crying is still there.

Niall had hurt in his eyes, from seeing me and Harry crying like this.

I still remember what happened after Selena died...

*FLASHBACK*

I broke down on tears, Niall still hushing me, from the corner of my eye I saw another figure wearing skinny jeans. 

It must be Harry, and of course Liam told him.

"H-Harry?" Niall said, looking at the direction of Harry. I heard a sob, I looked up and at that moment Harry fell on his knees, crying. 

I never saw Harry like this, from behind him I saw Liam with mouth wide open and Miley crying too.

Eleanor, Louis and Zayn, I can see them too.

The doctors told us to say our last goodbyes

"Selena, please forgive me for anything I did. Forgive me that I knew Joe because if I hadn't known him you wouldn't have been here now, instead we would have been there taking funny selfies and tweeting them" after that I let out a sob and continued "you are in a better place now, I'll never forget you Sel" I stand and held her hand for a second before letting her go...for the last time ever. The last time I'll See Selena.

Now Harry went up, to say his goodbye

"S-Sel" I can totally tell he can't form words "I'll always love you, remember the necklace you gave me on my birthday? I'll never forget that, I'll always wear it" he said then kissed her and let go

Then went Miley, Eleanor, Liam, Zayn and Niall.

We arrived home, after 30 minutes of sitting crying and sobbing I heard the doorbell, I was gonna stand up but Niall gestured me that he'll open the door.

I though it'll be Derek or anyone from my family.

But gah, those were Selena's. Her mom was sobbing, her dad tearing up.

I rushed to them and hugged them

"Selena will never be forgotten" I whispered to both of them and they took a seat

"The funeral will be 2 days from now" Zayn said

*END OF FLASHBACK*

The funeral is 2 days from now, that will be from the most days I hate.

*AFTER 2 DAYS*

We got out of the car, me, Harry and Niall.

I stopped crying...at least not crying like before.

We went inside, I can hear many sobs.

I looked around to see Selena's parents, Justin Bieber, who was very close to Selena too. Selena's uncle and aunt...or the whole Selena's family.

The priest began talking now..

"We gather here to celebrate and remember the life of Selena Gomez"

And went like any ordinary funeral, but after 10 minutes I couldn't take it anymore

"Niall, let's go outside" I whispered to him

"What the hell?! no. What would people say about us?" he whispered back, and he was right.

"Please" I whispered, he sighed before nodding.

We made our way outside and sat on a bench

"Don't be sad. Every story has an ending..our's will be happy" he said as he held my hand, I smiled

"We got in many problems, when we get out of one and think that it ended and we'll have live happily after that, another problem comes and it  becomes even worse" I said, he nodded

"Well, life..you know. Take people and give people" he said, I nodded

"You know what, we can run away from all of this. We can live happily even after" I didn't understand what he meant. I didn't respond so he continued..

"We can live somewhere else were people are happy, children playing in the garden, old people jogging, couples kissing.." he said. I still didn't understand..but all my thoughts faded as he stood up and knelt on one knee

"Demi, will you marry me?"
