Niall's Pov
It's been 3 hours since I woke up, Demi hasn't left my side for a minute, I honestly feel happy. Having an amazing girlfriend. An amazing life. 4 amazing friends, who are like my brothers. An amazing family (Don't count my brother in). a GOOD brother (what?).
"Uh, babe?" Demi said, I gestured her to continue
"Can I go to my house to check on Maddie for an hour? the boys won't leave you" she said as she smiled one of her breathtaking smiles
"What's with Maddie?" I asked concerned
"Uh.....she broke her arm? So hard? I know it's not a big deal but...I'm just protective over her?" I let out a giggle after she finished
"Okay sure but let Louis drive you there" I said and looked up at Louis, he was smiling. But Demi shook her head.
"My manager just called me and hour ago. When I told you it's important and I had to answer it, so she told me that I can't go anywhere without my bodyguard for this week" she said "oh by the way look at this" she finished handing me a magazine
I looked at a certain page.
Demi Lovato left Wilmer Valderrama for Niall Horan
"You know what, I thought if they mentioned my name in a magazine they would say 'a fellow called Niall Horan' or 'a guy called Niall Horan' but they went straight and said Niall Horan" I said after I finished reading. I saw Demi roll her eyes before leaving
Demi's Pov
I'm finally there. Home. I knocked on the door.
The door opened to reveal the guy I thought I'd never see again
"DEREK?!?!?!" I Yelled. He nodded.
"But.....
When?
How?
Why?" I asked, he told me to come in.
I don't know if I should be happy or sad. But I have too many problems already so I decided to be happy...BUT I CAN'T FORGIVE HIM FOR RUNNING AWAY FROM HOME LIKE THIS! Yes he ran away from home!
Don't forgive him! he's a faggot! a rude voice said in my head, oh that's Wilmer's voice
Forgive him Demi, he must have something to explain to you. Just give him one chance. Another voice said...an Irish accent? That's Niall's!
I decided that I'll forgive Derek...BUT NOT COMPLETELY, I SAY AGAIN. N-O-T COMPLETELY!
As I reached the living room I saw Derek hugging Mom
"B-But I-I..the fuck?!" I said and mom glared at me give me a 'language' look
"Sorry" I muttered rolling my eyes
"Derek wants to say sorry" mom smiled before derek made his way to me, but I backed away from he can he hug me
"nonononono! not before you explain!" I pointed to Derek, he nodded
"You know, I had a girlfriend right? her-" he was beginning his 'explanation but I interrupted him
"Mary? right?" I said and he rolled his eyes
"Maria. and DON'T interrupt me EVER again!" he said and continued on with his 'story' or 'explanation'
"Okay, so that day I left, Maria sent me a text telling me to come over to her house, she's living alone...she was...she was g- No I'll tell you the surprise at the end, so-" I interrupted him again
"But how did you leave school like this?!" I asked and he gave me a 'what-the-fuck' look..and then I remembered he graduated a day before this happened so I mouthed him an 'oh'
"So Maria was my girlfriend, I love her..she does..we love each other and gah...so a night we had sex-" I interrupted him once again..
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I Half-Yelled
"Shut up Demi! And LANGUAGE..plus, lemme continue..so after a two months of me and Maria having sex..she..she..gave birth" He whispered the last part, my eyes went wide.
"Seriously?! and what did you?!" I asked
"She gave birth, we have twins now. A girl and a boy. Leo and Leona. After that we got married-" You what I did right?
"YOU GOT MARRIED BEFORE INVITING US?!" I yelled
"Shut up Demi! Seriously!" he said
"Look at the nice part, you're an aunt!" he smiled widely, which made me smile too
"I'm an aunt" I jumped around the room
"You're an aunt" Derek said
"I'm an aunt!"
"You're an aunt!"
"I'm an aunt!!"
"You two shut up!"
"I'm a- Wait that's not Derek's voice" I was gonna say the sentence for the fourth time but I realized that the last voice that talked wasn't Derek's, I looked and saw Mom with her arms crossed, I sat down
"So..how's Niall?" Dad asked but before I can answer, Derek barged in the conversation
"Who's Niall?" Derek asked
"My boyfriend" I said
"Oh, your boy-...wait a second-WHAT?!?! Let my mind process that, Demi has a boyfriend..you used protection didn't you? and let me tell you, don't trust any guy you meet" Derek said
"FIRST of all, you have no right in asking if I used protection or not" I said, he looked shock with wide eyes, I know what he's thinking
"B-But that doesn't mean I didn't use protection" I said innocently, he let out a sigh of relief
"AND SECOND of all. I'm not the person who ran away from home and came back two years later" I said and that's true. I know I never mentioned Derek before, but I didn't want to
"THIRD of all, I have to go" I said as I got up from the couch
"Oh, don't forget to say to Niall that we wish him to get well soon" Dad smiled at me, I turned around and walked one meter, but Derek's voice stopped me
"EXCEPT me" he said, I rolled my eyes
"Who said that I was going to mention anything about you?!" I said not turning back and continued to walk, but I swear I know that he's glaring at me right now
A/N I'm sorry for the bad chapter..it was kind of a.....filler chapter? I have good news :3 I'm not having a writer's block anymore and I already planned the ending of this story (There are still about 6-9 chapters left) If you like this chapter
