Chapter 3 [Rewrote and edited]

Demi's pov

I finally got ready, I wore a casual blue shirt, with jeans and white converse

10 Minutes and he isn't here, I decided to go get an ice-cream, i got to the ice-cream cart, but halfway there I saw Niall, with a girl, rather a hot and pretty girl, making out.

That must be his girlfriend, she IS his girlfriend, a really perfect couple.

Niall pulled back and stared and saw me, when he did his eyes widened

"Demi!" He yelled and ran towards me "Hello." He said and the girl left

"Oh, um... Hi. This is your girlfriend, right?" I ask him with a smile

"Nope! She is my ex, and she cheated on me and now asking me to forgive her and she won't leave me alone!" He said

"Oh, you look like a nice couple but.... Yeah, alright." I said, trying to sound sad, but I failed again.. Actually, I was happy to hear this

He wrapped his arms around my shoulder and we began to walk "So, where?" I ask

"Uh.. The park.." I said confused

"Yeah, right!" He said and chuckled at his stupidity

We spent our day together, and that's it

After I went to home, to my room and into my bed and of course slept

*2 WEEKS LATER*

Niall's Pov

It's been 2 weeks since I went to the park with Demi which is 2 weeks and one day since I met her

We are best friends now, I see her every day after school, we went to many places.. To the beach, the pool and I stayed 2 days in her house, and she did stay 2 days too in my house, she had dinner with me in my house a lot too so did I

I decided to take her to the amusement park today, because it's her birthday

I finally decided to call her

"Hey, Demsy!" I said

"Ni! How are you?" she asked

"Great! So, I have a surprise for you, I will pick you up, ok?" I said

"Ok, after 30 minutes?" She said

"Yeah, bye" I said before I hung up

I got ready and got into my car to go to Demi's house

*30 MINUTES LATER*

I knocked the door and Demi's mother, Dianna opened the door

"Hello, Ms. Lovato" I said with a smile

"Niall, hello" She said then hugged me

"Uh, is Demi here?" I asked, she nodded.

"Of course, enter she's in her bedroom" She said

I went to her bedroom's door and yelled "Demi, can I enter?"

"Wait a second- yeah!"

"Alright." I said as I opened the door and entered

"How are you?" I asked once I saw her

"Great, you?"

"Alright"

"So, where are we going?"

"Surprise!"

"Okay..." she said and walked past me to the door, giving me a kiss on the cheek on her way, which made me blush.

"Let's go?" I whispered with a smile

"Ok" Demi said with a smile too

We went downstairs, said bye to Demi's mother, Dianna and I drove, and still, I didn't tell Demi about her surprise, when we got near to the amusement park, I told Demi to close her eyes, so she did..

But I covered her eyes with my hand

After a minute, we were there

"Niall, can I open my eyes now?" Demi asked

"Sure" I said, getting my hand off her eyes

"Oh my! I haven't been to an amusement park for about 3 years!" She yelled and jumped on me and hugged me so tightly

"I'll appreciate it if you don't kill me." I said trying to breath

"Oh, sorry." she said innocently and ran to the roller coaster

"I forgive you." I said, stupidly and dumbly.

"Rollercoaster! Rollercoaster!" she said once I reached her

"Ok!" I said and we made our way to the roller coaster, we waited up to 10 minutes in the waiting line, but we soon got in, Demi sat next to me of course, soon the roller coaster started and that was faster than I expected

Demi began screaming, so did I.. After a minute I noticed she was holding my hand, I felt so happy I stared at her and her flawless hair was beautiful, her scream and her eyes too..

And after another few minutes the roller coaster stopped

"Wow" She whispered and got her hand off mine

We got off the ride and walked

"Looks like you were scared there," I said

'NO! I mean, yes, b-but how did you know?!" She asked

"Nobody doesn't get scared while on the roller coaster and you were holding my hand which was a sign that you were scared" I said

"Oh" She said, turning her face around because she was blushing

"So what now?" I ask

"What do you want?" she asked

We went on another few rides

After that the guard told all the people to go outside the park, but he skipped us

I had planned for this eventuality..

"Let's go" Demi said

"Ok," I said, I know that the gates will be closed before we go outside and it did really happen

Then the electricity went out and it was night, so no light at all now

"Niall! Where are you?!" Demi yelled

I tried not to make any sounds

Soon the fireworks started, one with the name 'Demi', the second 'happy birthday' and the third is 'from Niall'

Then the amusement park lights went back and Demi found a birthday cake and me in front of her

She was smiling like crazy and she hugged me so tight.. Then she pulled back slowly and began kissing me, so did I.. The kiss was so passionate.

Then she pulled back "I love you Niall.." She whispered

I froze in my place, not even breathing.

"So do I Dems.. So do I." I replied as fast as possible

We both smiled at each other

"Happy birthday" I Whispered to her holding her hand

"Cake time, please?" She said

"Yeah!" I said

We ate half of the cake and Demi took the rest with her

This day was the best day of my life, but I'm not her boyfriend yet.. First of all I should ask her out!

Demi's Pov

Niall's the best ever, I can't believe he told me that he feels the same way, I can't be happier than this! I do really love him so much and I shouldn't let anything ruin our friendsh- I mean relationship!

I think he will ask me out, I do know Niall well.
