Death to Come

Change, nothing is changing. I long for a difference in this pain. I wish my Lord and Lady could hear my calls, I wish I was able to reach them. I cannot cast a circle of power; I cannot call the elements forth. I cannot even feel my body. I can project myself and meditate; I can try to reach my Goddess. I may not be able to speak but thoughts are all I need.

I am protected by your might

O gracious Goddess, day and night

I repeat and repeat. I feel the pain resurfacing to my skin. I am deep into my mind, nothing can hurt me here. Logan, you cannot kill me you cannot hurt me as long as I can think and call my power. I will be reborn into a new life, a better life. You may kill this body, but you will never have my soul. You would do Loki proud, causing all this grief and pain.

Earth my body

Water my blood

Air my breath

Fire my spirit

Reborn into a new life I will be and you will be punished by the three-fold law. People will forget you in time, you will be another name just another criminal. You'll be the one no one will remember and no one will care. Burn me like my sisters before me, drown me like my sisters to come. Cut my body into shreds like a piece of meat. Sell my blood as poison. Have my screams haunt your nightmares. My blood will forever stain your hands. Your soul is dirty and evil. The Gods will judge you upon your actions, by all the lives you have taken. I will live forever stained by you.

Time has passed, the Wheel has turned.

It is time for me to move on.

I will walk hand in hand with the Ancient Ones,

and with my ancestors who came before me.

Great Mother, welcome me back into your womb,

I come to you and know I am blessed,

for my life has been one I am proud of.

As I enter your world, wrap me in your loving arms,

and welcome me.

Lord of Death, I wait for you to take me,

I come to you willingly, with eyes wide open,

as my last moment approaches on the horizon.

May I look upon you without fear, without pain,

and knowing that those who walked before me,

await me on the other side.

O Ancient Ones, give me the strength to take these final steps

and allow me to do so with peace and dignity.

Let my family mourn my passing but not my loss,

and let them heal knowing I will see them again.
