That moment

"LYSANDER SMYTH" my mom thundered as I kicked the door to my bedroom shut.

At half past five I knew I had to get out of my house and luckily my dad phoned me just in time and gave a list of things to be bought over. So I grabbed the list and ran out of my house before that 'I want my daughter's stuff Carol' comes here.

I waited about five minutes to get an almost empty auto. A girl was already in it texting someone and finger combing her hair. God! I thought and texted Lee.

"Address buddy I need it"

When he didn't respond I switched to looking outside, a few minutes later an middle aged woman pushed herself beside me and was trying to even occupy my space. I gave her a cold look and she stopped conquering. As time passed another man climbed in he adjusted beside me himself making me very uncomfortable. Just as I was about to sit on the seat opposite the auto gave a sudden break and if it weren't for my balance I would have kissed the driver's back. I quickly retreated back into my seat this time moving a lot back. The jerk made the other three move forward so I took advantage. Let's see who is great now huh? The man started screaming at the driver for pulling off such an idiotic stunt. It turns out he stopped for another passenger. I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone. The new passenger got in and we were off again I texted Lee again.

"Dude c'mon"

Still no response so I looked out and started counting the shops we were passing by. The street lights grew bright once we crossed the cross-roads so I could have a clear view. Just then out of nowhere I heard the first few lines of FloRida's 'whistle'. And I was pretty confused to hear that. I looked all around trying to find where that was coming from. The girl opposite me who was the reason for that 'stunt' pulled out her phone urgently from her denim pocket and answered the phone call.

"Yeah" she snapped angrily. I gave her a better look. A bus passed us with huge honking and threw light on her face. My eyes went wide. Because I was looking at the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen in my life.

One

I paid less attention to her compelling eyes and more attention to what she was saying.

"Yeah I am on my way" she said and leaned out to find where she is.

"It'll take about ten minutes to get there" she said. Ten minutes I could live with that. I observed her more she was in a hoodie, underneath which she was wearing a Black Kurta. She was talking very rapidly it was hard for me to decipher what she was saying.

"Look I know what I am doing ok?" she said and waited.

"What did he say?" she said in her musical voice. It was smooth as well as dreamy. It was unique like she could charmspeak with that voice. I realized I was drooling about her eyes so I averted my gaze.

"I am on my way. I'll fix everything I promise ok" she said in a very commanding voice. She peeped out again and then said in a sharp cry "Stop here please". While she was getting down I took a look at her amazing eyes again. They were slightly hooded, almond shaped and brownish black in color. I could draw millions of doodles on those eyes.

When she left I sighed and remembered what Lee said 'I really need to see a doctor'.

When Lee called for the party I wasn't at all ready. But when he said some unpleasant words I decided 'alright' I opened my wardrobe and felt a wave of pain hitting me. No more army camouflage jackets, no more purple skirts or long live 'Artemis' T-shirts. It was just me, and my stinking clothes. I quickly ran to my other cupboards and opened them. Half of the shelves were so empty it almost made me cry.

'You have to move on'.......

I remembered my mother's words. Was I ready to do that? Sophie though actually my cousin was more like my own sister. Being three years older than me she always protected me. Took care of me and filtered things for me. She always had a thing for adventures which sometimes can get you in trouble. But as someone once said you will only realize the importance of something when you lose it. I lost my happiness, my streak of wild side and rebellion with Sophie.

Now I was a simple normal Lysander who is so boring that he would not even go to a freshman party.

Anyway when Lee called again, I realized I was wasting time. So I pulled out my dark Blue pants, a green 'you don't mess with this' T-shirt. And finally completed the look with a dark jacket.

I went on my bike to the place Lee texted. It took me about forty minutes to reach it. But when I reached there I was so angry because I knew another way to that place which would have probably taken about fifteen minutes. But because of Lee's stupid directions I had to shoo away at least twenty beggars who pounced on me while stuck in traffic.

I was shocked to see those many people there. It was as if the whole youth of Vizag turned up here. I parked my bike under the place allotted for two wheelers. And did a double take when I saw some cycles.

But the real problem was still ahead. I got towards the entrance where people around my age were densely in conversation with each other. Some were requesting the guard to let them in while some bribing. I instantly searched for Lee but when I couldn't find him I called him. But he didn't pick up. I was not completely angry but was getting there when he didn't answer even after I called him I don't know like eight times. Which is the highest I have ever called anyone.

Guessing that he already got in. I approached the guard
