Chapter 12

Ace Clarendale:

The boys and I walked into the cafeteria. Dean was scanning the room to find my sister and so was I. Ben was headed strait for the food. Typical
We were walking to our table when i saw Dean rush of somewhere. Once i saw where i followed at the same pace. I was fuming and so was he. Ophelia was blocked by Brad and she seemed uncomfortable even maybe scared... i didn't understand how that feisty girl could become so scared... anyway, i blinked and Brad was on the floor being punched by Dean and luckily he did. I wanted to do the same! Ben came back and helped me pull him off when i saw in the corner of my eye Ophelia running away.
I stopped what i was doing and followed her into the corridors. She had hid in between lockers and i was hearing snifs as a came closer. Was she crying ? Why was she crying ? He better have not touched her in any way or he is dead meat!
That was what was going through my head right now.
I came up to her and crouched down in front of her placing my hands on her knees giving her a sweet smile. I didn't expect what happened next. She saw me and jumped in my arms making me fall on my butt but she needed the comfort. So we sat there in the middle of the halls, on the floor, she was crying her eyes out on my shoulder and i was holding her. I missed her so much. We were so close when we were little. It feels good having my twin sister in my arms.

Dean Hunter:
We arriver in the cafeteria and i started looking for her ocean coloured eyes. Once i did , what i saw was not what i wanted to see... Brad that douche was all over her and by the look on her face i knew he was bothering her. To be honest i don't remember what i said to him that i found myself punching him like he deserved. After a couple minutes of punching i finally got of him. Turning around and hearing the gasps and whispers all around but no sign of my sunshine.
"What? Go back to what you were doing" i growled to the people in the cafeteria. Sophie had her head down as Ben was talking to her. I walked up saying
"Did you see where she went?" Trying to calm myself down.
"She--sh-she ran. I think A-Ace followed her."
Ben gave a a knowing look thanking her and we both left to look for them.
It didn't take long to find them.
We walked to them and i saw Ace holding her in his arms rubbing her back. I couldn't help but get mad, my jaw clenched and my hands became fists. But i couldn't help but feel jealous and it's her BROTHER! What is wrong with me?
I take a breath and calm down before coming up to them and sitting down next to them. Her eyes met mine and she immediately sat up and whipped her tears away. And said
"Why did you punch him?"
"Why are you crying?" I answered back
"Touché" she said and a small smile came on her lips. Those gorgeous looking lips and it made me smirk in response.
She got back up and said that she will be off after thanking Ace for the hug. But before she could leave i grabbed her wrist
"You aren't going back to classe after that. I won't let you. We are having a movie marathon this afternoon, right boys?"
"Yes!" They said in unison understanding where i was going with this idea : keep her close and safe.
She just nodded. I took her hand as we walked out, she didn't object and said
"You don't need to do this for me... i'm more than happy for you to drop me off at my place. I don't want to impose.."
" no worries sunshine, you'll never be a bother." I hold her closer as we walk out to my car.
Once she sees it she screams and runs to it inspecting it.
"OMG!!! You have a porsche 964 turbo?!?"

I couldn't help but smile and so did the boys. She knows her cars.. she's so perfect. Her eyes lit up when i said
"Yes bab- umm i mean Sunshine" Ace had nudged me in my ribs to stop me from calling her baby. He is sure taking his big brother roll very seriously.
"I accepted 'Sunshine' don't push your luck." He whispers in my ear.

We all went in my car and drove to my place.

After the first 2 movies we watched, Ben had to leave. Which left Ace, Ophelia and I. She was sat in between us with her head on Ace's shoulder and her legs on my lap. She suddenly stood up and said panicked
"Oh my! I didn't tell Sophie i was leaving! Oh and Mollie and Trey! The dogs!!" She was pacing around the room. Ace stood up and left the room to get more snacks. I came to her and places my hands on her shoulder making her stop and look at me.
"I need to call them." She whispered.
"Go on then Sunshine i'm not stopping you.." she nodded and informed them where she was and stuff i could over hear them on the phone.

Hours past and during one of our movie breaks she asked if she could borrow one of my shirts because her jeans weren't comfortable to stay in that long. I nodded and told her to help herself. Ace not bothered either. She came back out and man did she look hot! My shirt was so big on her it came up to her knees. She had washed her make-up off and tied her hair in a messy bun. She looked so angelic.
She came back on the sofa the same way we were before. And she and Ace fell asleep. I got up making sure not to wake them both and called Trey.
"Hey!"
"Hey!"
"Mollie told me she is with you, if everything alright?"
"Yeah, she fell asleep on Ace. I don't want to wake her. She can stay at my place."
"That's a good idea. Moll's and I have a meeting with Roghan in two hours so i'll drop by with a bag of stuff for her."
"Ok"
"Oh and wake Ace up. His father wants him at the meeting, i'll take him there."
"Ok see you later."
"Take care of her and NO funny business"
"Chill , bye"
"Bye"
And after the phone call, i went to wake up Ace making sure not to wake her up.

Ace left and Ophelia woke up shortly after.
"Hello sunshine, your staying here tonight. I already called Trey and he brought you a bag of stuff"
She just nodded, not asking anything further.
By that time my mom and sister had came back home and it was dinner time.
