8. We must stick together!

Teë's POV (1 week later)
I woke up at 7:30am. I'm gonna be frickin late I am supposed to meet the others at school early at 8 so we can practice our song. I couldn't sleep last night so I wrote the song instead, I know I agreed to write it with the others but that would take long, I ended up falling asleep on my desk. I put on my cheerleading outfit, grab my pom poms and ran out of the door. My stuff are in my locker in school. I meet the gang at 8am, everyone looks different. I'm wearing a cheerleader uniform, Trey's wearing his lacrosse uniform, same as Xavier. Jason and Nigél are wearing their basketball uniform, Melanie is wearing her soccer uniform. Crystal is wearing a dress with flowers on it with a flower in her hair. Miles is wearing a lab coat, Sophia and Sally look like they are going for a fashion show. Theo is just being Theo and Amethyst is wearing some red plaid skirt with a white shirt and black blazer. High school has changed us, but it won't change the connection we have for each other...I hope...I run over to Caleb with my Pom poms.
Teë; Hey! Sorry I'm late, I woke up late but I wrote the song for our project.
Caleb: Let me see it. *takes the sheets*
Caleb examines the music and lyrics. He smiles and is impressed.
Caleb: This song is so awesome, wow Teë I'm impressed! What inspired you to write this song cause it's about girls and possibly you.
Teë: Uhh...It's about me and how I've changed from the girl I used to be. I'm not the girl I was 5 years ago apparently and I wanted everyone to know that. So they can stop expecting me to change back even if I did get my memory back, they can't expect me to go back to who I was when I left.
Caleb: Fair enough, the others are in the auditorium. What instruments are needed to play this song?
Teë: A keyboard or a key-tar, an electric guitar, a drum player, a back up singer and a lead singer.
Caleb: Cool, lets go meet the others in the auditorium.
Teë: Okay.
In the Auditorium, 15 minutes later
Caleb: You guys like the song?
Amethyst: Like it? I frickin' love it!
Xavier: This is one amazing song, way to go Teë! *punches her arm playfully*
Teë: *rolls eyes playfully* Oh it was nothing.
Theo: No this is something, you have a gift.
Amethyst: It's true Teë, you really do have a gift. I couldn't write a song this good in hours, and you could.
Xavier: So what instruments are we all going to play?
Caleb: Dibs on the drums!
Theo: I'll play the keyboard or key-tar, whatever the name of it is.
Teë: I wanna play the electric guitar!
Amethyst: Teë, I think you should sing the lead.
Teë: Ugh seriously?!
Amethyst: You know the song better than any of us here and it is about you so if you sing it, it will be better since it's coming from your interpretation.
Teë: Gee, when did you become so wise?
Amethyst: *flips hair* It's a gift.
Teë: *playfully pushes her* Shut up! *giggles*
Xavier: So Teë you're singing the lead right?
Teë: *sigh* Fine...I'll do it.
Amethyst: Now that wasn't so hard was it?
Teë: *mumbles* Yeah yeah, whatever...*puts Pom poms down and grabs microphone*
Xavier: I'm playing the electric guitar cause I rock at that!
Amethyst: And I'll sing backup and harmonise.
Xavier: It's all figured out then, let's start practising.
They all practice for 10 minutes, the rest of the gang burst through the doors of the auditorium.
Melanie: Hey! What are you lot doing here?
Theo: We are doing a project for Music.
Trey: What's it about?
Theo: Music? It's about music.
Trey: *rolls eyes and face palms*
Xavier: It's a song that Teë wrote.
Trey: Wow I'll like to hear that. *smirks and sits down*
Teë: *rolls eyes* Fine, but all of you have to promise to keep quiet.
Nigél: *bounces basketball* Yeah we will.
Everyone is still staring at Nigél bouncing his ball.
Nigél: *looks at them* What? This ball is like my best friend.
Amethyst: If you don't stop bouncing that ball, I will throw it on your head.
Nigél: Geez when did you become so aggressive? *rolls eyes*
Amethyst: Since now! *glares at him*
There's silence in the room after Amethyst and Nigel's mini argument. Caleb breaks the silence.
Caleb: Can we just play now?
Crystal: We're waiting for you to play. On your que.
Theo: Okay guys, let's play!
Caleb: *hits drumsticks together* 1,2, 1,2,3,4!

Xavier plays the guitar to start while Caleb plays the drum. Then Amethyst sings backup. People start coming in and filling up the seats, every clique even the popular people and cheerleaders with the lacrosse and basketball team.

Teë: *turns to face the crowd* Insecure in her skin, like a puppet,

Teë: So it looks like the jokes on you, cause the girl that you thought you knew. *points at the crowd*

Xavier plays a guitar solo and Teë whips her hair around and gets down on her knees while looking down at the floor.

The crowd goes crazy and cheers for them including the gang.

Everyone stands up and cheers for them, they bow and all hug each other, Teë kisses Xavier's cheek, he blushes. Trey sees this and walks out of the auditorium full of jealousy. Everyone gets up and goes out, the others follow and go to the gang.
Crystal: You guys were great!
Nigél: That was sick man! *fist bumps Theo and Xavier*
Jason: Hmph it was ite.
Sophia: Is that why you were dancing in your seat like you had ants in your pants?
Everyone laughs except Jason. He just crosses his arms.
Jason: Hmph!
Sophia: Don't mind him, he's just moody.
Miles: You guys should sign up for that talent show and musical.
Melanie: Yeah, you would be great!
Teë: What if we all signed up for the musical?
Everyone: What?!
Teë: I'm serious, come on it would be fun. Something to do, the last time any of us would be together. What do you guys say?
Crystal: I volunteer at the animal shelter in Station Square like everyday, so I can't.
Miles: I practise with the decathlon team everyday after school and they are finally considering me as captain so that's a no.
Melanie: I was nominated the captain of the soccer team so I have to start acting like it.
Teë: Just think about it guys. Promise?
They all look at each other, then look at Teë.
Everyone: *sigh* Finee...
Teë: Yay! *looks around* Wait...Where's Trey?
Sally: He probably got jealous.
Teë: About what?
Jason: Faker got jealous cause you kissed Xavier.
Teë: What's so wrong about that? A kiss is just a kiss between me and Xavier, it doesn't mean anything more, plus it was on the cheek not the lips. Don't understand why he's being so...Jason.
Jason: HEYYY! Hmph! *crosses arms*
Teë: See this is what I mean?!
Melanie: Well...It kinda looked like you guys were flirting with each other.
Xavier: W-what?! Don't be silly!
Teë: Yeah we're just best friends. *blushes lightly*
Sally: Mmhmm *crosses arms*
Teë: Shut it Sally, who asked you?
Sally: I'm just saying you and Xavier have been hanging out with each other often nowadays, people might get the wrong idea or maybe it is what it looks like.
Xavier: *blushes of embarrassment* I-its not what it looks like, right Teë?
Teë: *blushes* R-right! And of all people you're the one to be talking.
Everyone groans.
Nigél: *face palm* Here we go again!
Sally: What's that supposed to mean?
Teë: It means that you probably slut it up in every realm when you have the chance. You even got Trey to hate you and now you're jealous cause you know it won't be long for me to put everyone against you, so watch yourself! No wonder Trey regrets being with you! You're just a stuck up princess that can't get anyone to love her back and you're just jealous that Xavier and I have a tight relationship now and you seem to be drifting apart from everyone!
Sally: *tears well up in her eyes* I-I...E-excuse me...*runs out of the auditorium*
Melanie: That wasn't fair.
Teë: If it wasn't fair, why didn't you guys back her up?
Everyone keeps quiet.
Teë: Exactly cause you know I'm right.
Crystal: What you said was mean, and you're not going to put everyone against her cause you are already doing that all on your own!
Sophia: Heyy! Calm down Crystal aren't you the one who didn't want Sally to even come with us on the cruise ship?
Crystal: Well that was before!
Amethyst: *mumbles* Such a two faced bitch!
Crystal: What did you just say?! *approaches Amethyst*
Amethyst: *gets in her face* Such...A...Two faced...BITCH!
Crystal slaps Amethyst's face and starts pulling her hair, the girls start fighting until the boys pull them back.
Crystal: Miles! Let go of me! I want to scratch her face out!
Miles: Crystal! Calm down! You've changed, you never used to be violent and now when you come to high school you've become...*sigh*
Crystal: Become what? *looks at him*
Miles: You're not innocent and sweet anymore, you're not pure. You even forgot our date yesterday and I waited for you for hours, I even bailed on the decathlon team!
Crystal: Well I had a fundraiser! What did you expect me to do, drop everything and come running into your arms?!
Miles: Y'know what? Forget it...*grabs bag* I'm outta here *walks away*
Crystal: Miles I swear if you take one more step...We're done!
Melanie: Crystal! That's a bit har--
Crystal: I don't care! It's like he's calling me a slut now, just cause I talk to more boys doesn't make me one!
Miles looks back at Crystal and sighs. It looks like there are tears in his eyes, he looks forward and walks out completely.
Crystal: F-fine, leave me! See i-if I c-care...
Teë: Crystal, are you o--
Crystal: Don't! Okay...just don't touch me!
Teë: It wasn't my fault.
Crystal: It kinda wa--
Theo: Guys just shut up! You girls are such brats these days.
Melanie: *looks at him* E-even me?
Theo keeps quiet.
Sophia: We are all being immature, if we always fight like this, we might as well not be friends.
Nigél: What are you tryna say?
Teë: What she's tryna say is that we should all just not be friends anymore and we should all breakup as a gang, as the Freedom fighters.
Crystal: Since when were you a freedom fighter?
Teë: Since forever, until I kinda disappeared for five years and no one bothered to find me apparently and maybe we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place and I would still be the same annoying girly Teë that everyone knew.
Melanie: Cause we thought you were dead!
Amethyst: You guys have to admit, she was never really gone. Couldn't you feel it?
Crystal: We don't need a spiritual lesson, Amethyst.
Everyone starts arguing with each other.
Xavier: YOOOO!
Everyone becomes quiet and stares at Xavier.
Xavier: I think Teë is right...*sigh* We've been complaining so much and we've all changed, that we're just not compatible with each other anymore. I was afraid that this would happen and now it has, so let's all just break up and forget about each other. Alright!
Everyone except Sophia&Jason: FINE! *walks out of the auditorium*
Teë's POV
When we all walked out of the auditorium, we glanced at each other one more time and walked our separate ways. From that day, that minute, that second, everything changed for everyone.
