she does it to appease the crowd
extroverted, personable
considerate, stable girl
(dangerously sweet)
she's gonna snap one day inside
you are going to notice when
she runs to her lover in tears
(she can't act very well)

fifteen, world's weight on her shoulders
cuts her anxiety away
harshly lonely- wishing herself
to be something more
teenage angst and suicide floats
with forbidden sexual thoughts
she's a prime example of a
cliché come to life

all the noise of the world and
a god who exists only lightly
real life made her lose some belief
in a heaven hope
she can't or (won't) be accepted
into this realm of quick judgement
gape at splitting arms and don't get
that it's her armour

plain eyes mask the sorrow, knowing
that we're just in it for the kill
she doesn't wanna be dazzled
with blood- life's gory
she feels like time is a landslide
when her lover starts counting down
it's an icy slope that spirals
'til the bell rings out

this lover is gonna leave an
empty space beside her (her heart
will be punished for wickedness)
teenage drama queen
say pointless things and write logic lists
-as if that'll change her heartbeat!
going to hell in a school dress
'cos she's a demon

it hurts her (cleaves her down the spine)
when they label her, calling it
a stereotype and nothing
in the same moment
belittles her like she demeans
herself at 3am- except
they use words and she uses a
sharp knife (so cliché)
