Chapter 1: Welcome to Jurassic World {Edited}

During the freakin endless hours on a plane, I finally made it to Costa Rica, and I was so excited to get to see my brother again. I walked through the airport, my bag strapped on my back, and luggage in hand. I saw a tall man in a black suit and tie looking around the crowd.

Was he looking for someone? He then turned in my direction, and I saw he held a sign that said my name on it. I was confused, but then I went up to him. "Hi, I'm Jason Grady," I told the man, he looked at me up and down, and a look of realization hit his face. "Oh yes, hello, I'm a driver assigned by your brother to take to the boats." He said in a mono-like tone voice. I nodded, and we headed to a black limo with black tinted windows. I looked at the man, confused, "What the-, this is the car we are taking?" He turned to me and chuckled, "Yes, your brother wanted to give you the ultimate experience." "Note you used the word "ultimate" " I mumbled and grinned, I was becoming more and more excited as I came closer and closer to the park, and my brother.

Once I got inside the limo, Just as I sat down, I got a text from my brother. ' Like my surprise ' my brother can be lame sometimes... I texted him back, 'It's incredible!! Thank you so much, bro! It was not even two seconds later did I get a response back from him. ' Your welcome Lil' bro, I can't wait to see you! Now, put down your phone and enjoy the ride! See you'

I guess I need to listen to him. I put my phone in my pocket and looked at the Costa Rica coast. Look at the ocean, I felt my eyes begin to grow heavy, and I fell asleep. I woke up in a dark place, I looked around, but the more I walk down the darkness gets bigger "What is going on?" I asked myself, then I turned around to see red eyes and giant mouth and eat me whole.

Suddenly, the shock woke me up, and I was confused at first as to why we stopped until I realized we were at the boat dock. The driver came and opened my door for me like I was a fancy billionaire playboy.

I said a quick thank you to the driver and moved to the dock. I ran so fast that I made it just in time for the next boat. I ran again to the top deck to get the best view. I liked the feeling of the wind blowing. It was another hour or so until I got there, but it was ten times better than the plane ride.

Time skip

I looked in front of me to see the island that I will be spending the next four months on. If you looked at the island from a certain angle and did not know what was on it, no one would have guessed it was a park. I know I should be excited to see revived dinosaurs, but I was excited to see my brother in all honesty. Not seeing him for 11 months straight can change somebody.

I couldn't be happier to see him. I noticed a girl with pink hair and a ponytail, and she smiled, and I smiled back. Then I was snapped out of my thoughts when a boy tapped me on the shoulder, I jumped and swung a fist and almost hit him, "Whoa, watch it!" said the boy, "My bad, I'm a bit overreactive" I told him, "Don't worry about it, I'm Zach." He said, " I'm Jason." I told him. I looked up at the island. "So, what are you here for?"Zach asked.

I turned to face him again and looked at him "My brother works at the park. I'm just going to stay there for the summer." I said. He almost looked surprised, "you get to stay here all summer?" He said, shocked.

"Heck yeah, I'm excited!" I exclaimed. Both of us laughed until we couldn't continue laughing. "What about you? What are you here for?" I asked. "My aunt works there. She got us VIP passes and stuff like that." He explained We were interrupted in the middle of our conversation by Zach's younger brother. "Zach! We're going to be there any minute, and you're just standing there talking to-" He stopped and looked at me.

"What?" I asked, "You're Jason Grady! the runner up in the 24th eSports competition eight months ago, right?" He asked me. "Yeah, that is me, "I said. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we have now arrived at Jurassic World, please exit the boat in an orderly fashion and enjoy your stay at Jurassic World!" An announcer said over the speakers.

I looked at Zach who had his brother tugging at his arm and telling him it's time to go, I pulled down my hat and laughed, I looked at my right arm, and it was converting between a dinosaur arm and a human arm, I grabbed my arm to keep it from turning, and it stopped.

"I'll see you guys around," I told Zach and left to exit the boat. I was so excited to see my brother and the dinosaurs when I landed on the dock. I felt the wind blow in my face, and it was like a whole new world.

Next thing I know, I was devoured into a hug. I already knew who it was, Owen. We pulled apart, and I looked at his face. I haven't seen this face in months, even though I have. I missed him so much and was glad to see him.

"I missed you, Owen," I said. Owen places his hand on my hair and ruffles through it and pulls me into another hug. "I missed you too, Jay." He replied. "And can I be the first one to say, welcome to Jurassic World."
