Chapter 6:Giganotosaurus Encounter Part 2 {Edited}

Jason's POV

I was beginning to open my eyes when the light blinded me. I felt the scales on my face, I closed my eyes again until I saw blood dripping from my forehead and a shadow looming over me. I open my eyes again and saw the Giganotosaurus, just staring at me. Like he has never seen a human child before. I looked at him, as I began to sit upwards. He took a step forward. To my surprise, he didn't roar or anything but just stared at me. I put my right hand in front of me as I did with Echo "It's okay" I told him. The scales on my face expanded.

He leaned his head closer to me, I expected for him to bite my hand off, But instead, he rubbed his face against my hand. I sat there in shock as he did this. He lifted his head and looked at me in the eye."I trust you" I heard him say through telepathy "And I want to protect you, my friend" He continued. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing.

 From what I read about Giganotosaurus, they are considered to be deadly to be around. But what I'm seeing isn't deadly but trustworthy and kind. Possibly he believes I'm his offspring of some kind or something along those lines. I felt this bond between us that cannot be described.

A bond between human and dinosaur. 

The Giganotosaurus lowered his head and I placed my hand on him. "I trust you too," I said through telepathy as the scales on my body disappeared but the eyes didn't change, they were still dino. 

I looked over the dinosaur's shoulder and saw Owen,freakin wide-eyed, I looked back at the Giganotosaurus, who nuzzled against my body. I stood and started to pet the side of his head.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see guards with tranquilizer guns and darts. I knew they were going to put him to sleep long enough for me to escape.

But, this bond, I felt a feeling that I couldn't let them hurt him. They lined their fire at the Gigantosaurus. I stopped petting him and stood in front, facing the troops. They told me to move before they needed to take me by force. I stood my ground. 

"GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY, JASON!" I heard Owen yell, but I didn't move at all. The troops started talking to each other, and they fired their guns anyway. I was struck with a tranquilizer dart, but it had no effect because the scales protected me, "I don't feel so good" I said as my eyes change to dinosaur, both my arms and hands start to convert into claws and scales.

Then I let out a velociraptor roar when a tranquilizer struck me in the neck as soon it came in contact I felt dizzy and tired and the scales and claws went away.

The Giganotosaurus roared and stood in front of me, was it protecting me? I don't understand what it's doing. The Giganotosaurus fell in front of me when I began to feel more dizzy and blacked out.

Owen's POV

What the fuck did I just see? What was that? I've never seen a Giganotosaurus do that before. That was totally not normal. During that whole time, I feared for Jason's life. But there he was, lying beside the giant sleeping dinosaur. I can't believe any of that happened. But what really pissed me off, was the fact that the troops hit Jason with a tranquilizer dart, if it weren't for those 'scales'.

That could have killed him!

They finally let me inside the damn cage and I ran towards Jason. I picked him up in my arms and carried him to a jeep. 

When I was outside I saw Crystal wearing an azure blue sweater jacket over a purple shirt. A small piece of black lace sits in the front of her neckline, and a rapier at her side. On the back of her jacket is the Schnee Crest.

 She walked up to me."Is he alright?" She asked me. I looked down at Cobalt "He took a dart to the neck while protecting the Giganotosaurus" I answered. She pulled out a grape and Cobalt's phone and hands it to me. "Jason dropped his phone back at the Mosasaurus show, I managed to fix it only to make sure it still works considering it landed in a puddle of water. and this grape. will nullify whatever is trying to take over him." She said.

I took the items and walked towards the jeep and drove back to my cabin. I wanted to ask him about what happened and whatever that was happening to him. Plus I need to know what happened with the raptors.

 I cleaned his wound to make sure it wouldn't get infected. I noticed something in Jason's other pocket. I pulled it out it was a hard drive. "Why does he have this?" I question myself.

Anyway I don't think he'll wake for another 3 or 4 hours, I'll leave him a note, telling him I'm going to work somewhere and he can hang out with those boys Zach and Gray and for him to text me where he is going.

Claire contacted me earlier today to come and check on this new hybrid that the lab has been working on. I started to head off to the building with Claire. I tried to focus on the task at hand, but I couldn't stop thinking about Jason or whatever is happening to him. I hope he will be alright.

Jason's POV

I woke up in Owen's cabin that he told me about. I tried to get up, but my body was aching all over, and my head hurts, but I still managed to move,  I looked around, I must have been sleeping for at least 2 hours. Sighing, I noticed a note beside the couch I was laying on:

Hey Jason,

You may be wondering where you are at, Well you are in my cabin along the route. I had to go take care of some business with Claire, but if you want, you can go explore the park some more. I just want somebody to make sure you will be safe, like Zach or Crystal. I just don't want to get hurt anymore or be in danger. and don't think that we are not going to talk about what happened to you or in that Giganotosaurus cage.

Be sure to let me know where you are going just in case. I left a motorcycle outside that has GPS location to the park, so you can find your way back. I'll call you when I'm done and keep an eye out for that girl in pink and also some new clothes came in yesterday. Owen

I read the letter and smiled, at least he cares. I pulled out my phone, by the relief it still functions and texted him, 'Hey Owen, I just woke up and about to head out, Thanks for the note, and thanks for the reminder of my new clothes, see you soon', I texted Zach. 'Yo Zach, just woke up, want to meet somewhere? My brother wants me to be around other people so nothing happens to me again."

 I took off my grey t-shirt and jeans that were now covered in blood, and revealed my flat stomach and small muscles and started to put my new jeans on when I got a text back.

'Hey Jason, sure we can meet up. Gray and I are heading towards the Gyrospheres if you want to come.' 

I put on a new pair of briefs and socks, my new grey henley t-shirt,  as well as my jeans, and I tied up my new converse shoes, and took a seat on my new motorcycle and drove back to the park.
