Chapter 7:Indominus Rex Released {Edited}

Owen's POV

On the way to the paddock for the hybrid with Claire, I got a text from Jason telling me that he was going to the Gyrospheres with Zach and his brother. I sent him a quick okay and that I'll be done soon. We stopped in front of what looked like one of the biggest paddocks I have ever seen, maybe 40 feet high or so. I looked at Claire and she nodded towards the paddock for me to follow her inside. " We have a new attraction," Claire said while unlocking the door to a viewing area that had 4 large glass panels.

 Once we entered I looked around, "So you just went and made a new dinosaur?" I paused, "Probably not a good idea." I said, "Where is the sibling? I questioned, a moment of silence passed us. "She ate it." She replied, I looked at her, "Was that always there?" I had pointed out of the window, at the giant gate that had claw marks that went from the end to the top. Claire turned to the guard and asked where it was.

I turn to look at the same guard and he had pink eyes for some reason, I turn back to the glass and I see the girl in pink with her pet sitting on top of the paddock. She turned to me and smiled. The guard's eyes turned back to normal and did a temperature check to find where it was in the paddock... he couldn't find her. Claire had turned paled when she saw that, as she sprinted out from the room and I was left alone with two guards.

Amethyst's POV

I watched the entire event happen inside the viewing area from the top of the cage. All I could do was laugh. "What incompetent humans, they can't seem to understand or see what is right in front of them," I said as my pink dinosaur eye glows, I lift my left hand, and a small pointed toothpick appeared, "Where is it, Corona?" I asked my pet, and it nudges to the forest inside the cage, "Over there" I said, Paris nods, I summoned a small pink thread-like string towards the forest, and it hit the dinosaur in the neck, "Finally" I giggled, I jumped down and landed on the outside the cage, then a pink spear appeared in my right hand, "Time to move on to our next hybrid." I giggled and walked away.

Owen's POV

The guards and I went to go check inside the paddock, and I turned towards the wall with the claw prints on it. "How could she have escaped?" I whispered to myself, but as I turned around to walk away from the guards. It could not be even possible for a giant dinosaur to jump that high, no matter what it was made of. But the peace was suddenly destroyed, as one of the guard's walkie talkie started to speak up. "Get out of there! It is in there with you!" As a female voice said, We all made a run for it towards the other side of the habitat - only to have the giant albino beast reveal itself. I stopped moving then run the other way and one of the guards was grabbed by her claws. The fatter guard runs towards a control panel to open the cage door, I started to make my way towards the door.

 The door was about to close when I dove through at the last minute. The door closed, but the Indominus Rex burst through the doors, and I began to run towards the vehicles. I dove under a car and laid down on my stomach. All I could see was the Indominus Rex, another vehicle, and the chubby guard from earlier. He looked at me with a panic look as the Indominus comes up to the side of the other car.

 She nudged her head up against the car and began to knock it over, showing where the guard was hiding and she ate him in one bite. I knew I had to do something, I cut a hose on the boat on the car I was under and covered myself in oil. The Indominus came and puts her nose to the bottom of the car where I was hiding, she couldn't pick up my scent because of the oil. 

After a second or two, she made her way to the forest, "Following that girl in pink perhaps" I thought to myself, and I got out from under the car, I was relieved for a minute that it was gone. But then I realized, she is in the northern half of the island making her way south, and Cobalt was at the Gyrospheres. The Gyrospheres were more north than anything else around the park. If I don't stop the Indominus, it might get to him! What to do? I ran towards another car and made my way to the park. I tried to call him but all I got back was, "Hello, You reached Jason Grady! Sorry, I can't come to the phone but leave your name and number! Thank you and bye."

 I slammed my phone into the passenger seat and sped off to the labs to see what the hell kind of dinosaur that was.

Jason's POV

I was inside my own Gyrosphere behind Gray and Zach as we were rolling through the valley. I got an announcement on my screen that said we need to head back. I was going to let Zach and Gray know when I got a headache all of a sudden "Argh,why does my head hurt so much" I thought to myself, then my phone ranged, I picked it up, "Hey" I answered, "You okay, I hope" Gray said through the phone "Yeah, I'm fine, just a small headache" I told him, and we hung up. the next thing I knew, all three of us were talking on the phone about the types of dinosaurs and stuff, it was like they were in the sphere with me.

 "We should head back." I heard Gray say on the other end. "He's right, Zach, if something is happening we should head back" I agreed but all I could hear from the other end Zach chuckling. "No, let's go up close and see, besides, we have VIP passes. So we should stay out here longer." Zach said I didn't agree at all with the plan. I formed my right hand into a fist, 

"THIS ISN'T ABOUT HAVING FUN ANYMORE!" I yelled through the phone, "Jason, you alright?" Zach said, "NO! AND HELL! I THINK WE ARE ABOUT TO RUN INTO SOMETHING REALLY DEADLY AND DANGEROUS!" I yelled.

After I calmed down a bit, all three of us went forward with the ride. We neared the end of the valley where there was a sign saying "EMPLOYEES ONLY" in big letters. Zach, being a freakin idiot, went inside, I couldn't leave them like that since something might be out there, so I followed them. Little did I know of the how much danger that will be coming our way
