Chapter 2:The Park {Edited}

After Owen and I had our family reunion, we decided it was time to enter the park. I started to head to the monorail when Owen stopped me mid-paced, "Where do you think you're going?" He said as a joke rather than a question. "I was going to the monorail to get to the park." I responded, "You're not taking the monorail, we're going on a different route." He said Owen began to pull my arm to what looked like a jeep on a dirt road under the monorail.

 I took the passenger seat while Owen took the wheel. We started on our way to the park, I looked around at the forest and up at the monorail that was right above us. "So Jay, how have things been going for you? I haven't seen you in a long time." He asked. I raised my head from my arm and looked at him, 

"Everything is going alright, I mean I finished my freshman year at Central, now I just needed to decide what to do during my summer vacation," I replied.

Owen had to miss most of the family activities that were planned for the summer because of his work. I wasn't mad about it, I mean, he was needed here and I knew that better than anybody. "I still really feel bad for missing it." He mumbled I snickered, I replied "Don't be, bro, I know that you are really important around here and besides you need to work a lot. Don't worry about it." I said looking at Owen with a smile.

 "I know.it's just. I wish I could be there for you more" He said taking his eyes off the road for two seconds to look at me as I look outside towards the forest again. "Meet anyone on the boat?" He asked. "Yeah, I did these two boys and a girl". I answered. "One older than me and one around my age, and the girl looked to be around my age. While you are working I'll hang out with them later on" I told him

 "Maybe, but there is something I want to show before you go to the park."He said with a grin. I knew already what he was talking about, Velociraptors.

Velociraptors were my favorite dinosaurs, I don't know what is about them. Maybe the way they think, or how they work in teams. I pulled back and look out the window to see the park. I saw a giant lake in the middle where what looked like a show going on. A great white shark was pulled in by a crane to the middle of the water, there was no motion what so ever.

Suddenly, A giant Mosasaurus popped out of the water and ate the shark whole. I just realized how real this actually is. "The drive is going to be about an hour or so, so if you want to catch some shut-eye you can. We won't be seeing many dinosaurs on the way there." Owen said I didn't know how tired I was when my eyes started to grow heavy. I leaned my head against the window, and I let the darkness crawl all over me.
