Sirens could be heard all over the city, the odd crash and bang of trashcans being ruthlessly chucked around due to them being in the way of the police cars echoed through the back streets.

You knelt behind a rusted old car, sacks of money under each arm. You were born into one of the most dangerous gangs in the city and were currently competing against another gorilla gang, but you were the only girl gang member out of both of the groups. This had Pros and Cons - the pros being getting out of the police station was much easier and people fell for your tricks quicker, the cons being you were extremely under appreciated because you were a girl and you were expected to sit and look pretty while your gang did the dirty work, but sometimes you had to do the messy bits, like right now for example.

You were currently playing hide and seek with the police and the other gang, the "rabbit" gang your dad calls them. It was set out over 4 blocks, and you had a large chunk of the money in your responsibility right now and the getaway car was nowhere to be seen.
Cautious, you peeked your head over the top of the car and scanned your surroundings before contacting your driver via walky-talky.

"Ricky... Ricky I'm here. Over." you mumbled as quietly as possible, scanning the area once again to find a pair of eyes watching you from the other side of the street, a white rabbit mask hiding their identity.

"Shit."

You darted to your left, taking a sharp turn into a small alleyway and pushed the garbage can to block the entrance. You stopped for a brief moment to see if the figure was following you, and you were correct. The large gorilla chucked himself over the garbage can, his heavy London accent washing over his chuckle. He was easily the biggest gorilla you'd ever seen, he had to be the leader.
An odd tingle rose up your spine, a mix of heat and shock spreading across your body, adrenaline pumping through your veins like an overflowing water-pipe. You ran, fear taking over your body, completely numb. The grunts of the gorilla behind you were dangerously close and if you didn't get him off your tail soon, God knows what'd happen.
You kept running until you ended up on a backstreet and ran towards the centre where you saw your father running briskly toward Rickys getaway car.

"Dad!" You bellowed, your legs becoming weaker with every step you took.

Your father spun around to see your burned out face, sacks of money weighing you down. Then, by chance, he saw the other gorilla chasing you. His senses took over as he launched himself off the truck, heading straight for the other alpha male, allowing you to get on the truck. You let your body flop onto the cold metal of the vehicle, your head resting on a sack, taking in lungfuls of precious air.
Just across the street, the two males where circling each other, anger and tension in their eyes, fists clenched tightly.

Abruptly, a police car came down the road, pulling up quickly. Both gorillas ran away speedily, your father climbing onto the bonnet of the car, the rabbit leader climbing briskly up a garage where the rest of his gang waited for him. Your gang kept their eyes on the road, but you couldn't break the stare between yourself and the gang leader, it was strange.

When you got home, your father chucked all the money into a pile, his face lit up.
"Were eating tonight, boys! All thanks to my beautiful little girl (y/n)!" He slung his arm around your neck, pulling you into a hug and kissing your forehead out of pride. You were happy for him, but you couldn't relate . You hated being in a gang. At only 18, you were forced into being in it even though you've always wanted to be a singer like your mother was, but you could never tell your dad. After all, you auditioned last year for the singing competition at Moon Theatre, but your father found you before you could even get onto the stage. He told you if you did that again, he would send you away. You wasnt even allowed to sing around him.

"Sit with me." Your father demanded, his onyx eyes piercing into your soul. Reluctant, you forced yourself onto the seat next to him.
"What have i done wrong to you, eh?" His thick, London accent washing over the previously silent room.
"W-well dad, i dont want to be in the mafia or gang or whatever this is, i want to be a singer - like mum." You said, your eyes awkwardly scanning the musky smoke room your fathers gang usually resided in.

The gorilla chuckled.

"Im not going to let that happen, not after 'ow your mother died. I will keep you in my grasp, even if it means i 'ave to send you away."

The worst bit was he wasnt joking, you had heard phonecalls about how much you were worth and how they would treat you.  Although you loved your father, God knows why he hates what you love so much.
