Echo's faithful path

The misery floods

It has been six moons since I've seen wild fire. He lied, how could I be so stupid he still thinks I'm a pup! I'm even going to go to the training hollow and he still thinks I'm some stupid pup. Echo thought and took a deep sigh. She stood up and was about to pad over to the hunting grounds when Boulder stood in her way." What is it boulder?" She said curiously, Boulder howled in dismay." Storm was attacked by rogues!" She gasped." No no!!!" She ran into the herb sorters den and saw a weak fragile body of their father. She only then realised how old and fragile he was." He might make it ,he has a terrible wound on his leg though. He might not be able to walk again." Said the herb sorter sadly .Echo sadly howled with grief and put her muzzle on his head.

"Father......please hang in there..please.." Dusk came in with Zuni and kala, kala gasped and weeped silently at the sight of storm lay there, kala was storms sister and best friend of Dusk, Zuni was Dusks friend and comforted her when she cried over storms side. Echo was full of hatred towards rouges now. She bit back her anger. She nearly felt as if she could rip every rouge in the forest." Curse those rogues!" Echo snarled with tears streaming down her eyes." Echo.." He opened his white coloured eyes. I bent down to clean the tip of his bleeding head with tears dripping onto his muzzle." Father please hang in there you'll survive.." He closed his mellow eyes and saw his body stop moving... His heartbeat stopped.." Father?" I whimpered . "Stay strong Echo..I'm proud of you...Boulder...I'm Also so proud of you I love the four of you so much... Dusk...Kala please don't be sad..take good care of them." With his last breath he reached out and muzzled Dusks muzzle." "Please Dusk.. Find another mate be happy again.." He then dropped silently onto the ground. " Father!" Howled Echo loudly.
