She closed her eyes and started to hear her frightened heart beat. She clutched he paws in the sandy hollow as the rogue leaped into the air ready to taste more of the sweet scented wolf pup. " Stay away from her you dirty ticked rogue!" A red pelted wolf snarled, he dug his teeth in the neck of the rogue that sent both of them flying. He pinned him to the ground as the rogue backed down shrivelling scarily under the red pelted wolves stare. The rouge yelped in pain as he then clutched the rogue wrists making sure it won't move. He dig his teeth into the windpipe of the wolf ending the rogue. The rogue lay motionless on the floor crimson flowing down his red stained neck fur. The red wolf panted heavily. He turned round with more anger in his eyes then he had towards the rogue." You could of died." Echo backed down under his menace stare but then softened as she looked up at him with her icy blue eyes." I was worried you know. I couldn't see you in the wolves nest." " Im sorry.." She looked blankly at the floor. He laughed cheerfully." Call me wild fire, it wasn't your fault, your too young to understand rogues invade are camp normally. That's why pups stay in the cave for the night." She nodded." I'm Echo." He smiled." Nice to meet you Echo." She looked up and followed wild fire back to the wolves cave." Your mother is waiting there okay?" " yep!" She dashed inside. She saw everyone was looking for her worried." Where were you!" Her mother wailed angrily, tears starting to stream down her eyes as she saw the cut on her shoulder."Echo?" she rasped and then hugged Echo tightly "What happened!" She waild.
