 Hazel

After the war of Gae the camp was almost in ruins. Thathlia's pine tree was regenerating, as it had been badly cut down by Gae. Hazel scanned the crowds for her boyfriend Frank. Bodies of dead half bloods littered the camp grounds. Hazel sickly recognized one of her friends from camp, Jupiter on the ground beside her feet. Three old ladies stood in the middle of them all cutting strings. Hazel couldn't seem to remember them... maybe they're Greek gods? She wasn't an expert on all things great but it was worth a try. Annabeth was hugging Percy tightly, he stroked her hair as tears streamed down her face .

"Where's Frank?" Hazel asked uneasily, looking around.

"He went with Leo," Percy said with a grim look on his face.

Hazel got the signal that they wanted alone time as she ran off to go find her boyfriend. Satyrs attended half bloods with large tins of nectar. If they had the symbol of Hermes they could be medical goats, Hazel thought smirking. 

"Hazel," a voice came from behind her as she turned around to see Ella the harpy, her red feathers ruffled.

" Hi Ella!" Hazel exclaimed with her New Orleans accent.

"Reyna needs you, I was told to hurry," Ella said as she took off.

Hazel followed Ella, occasionally tripping over half bloods, even a few curses left her mouth now and then in Greek or Latin. Hazel didn't care Reyna was in trouble, maybe even worse then trouble. Reyna lay on the ground, her purple cloak stained red in patches. Jason knelt over her, squeezing her cool hand. Hazel looked at Piper who had her hand on katropress.

"Reyna you're not dying," Piper said using her charm speak, though her voice had a hint of fear as well as desperation. She'd gotten so good that she'd even saved Hazel's life. Hazel died before in her old life in which she went to the fields of punishment.

Reyna stared at Piper with blank eyes,"Charm speak won't work Piper..." Reyna said in a raspy voice that barely had any life left in it.

"Bring some ambrosia!" Hazel yelled as she saw how truely pathetic and lifeless Reyna was. 

"Can't risk any more..."Jason murmured. 

Minutes later Percy and Annabeth arrived, Hazel still hadn't found Frank or Leo. 'I never realized how much I missed Sammy... Err Leo', she thought. Still not over the fact her friend looked just like her first boyfriend.

Tears streamed down Hazel's face, Reyna ripped off a piece of her praetor cloak and handed it to Hazel.

"You. Praetor," Reyna said in a quiet raspy voice touching Hazel's arms. Everyone stared at Reyna as her eyes closed. Coach Hedge ran up to the small group, crowding around the now lifeless body of Reyna's dead body.

"What happend hear cup cakes?" Hedge asked.

"Reyna is gone..." Annabeth managed as Hedge took off his cap revealing his horns .

"This can't be..." Jason sobbed as tears fell from his eyes.
