Zoë's POV
I was woken up by the smell of breakfast . I rolled over to the left side of my bed to look at my alarm clock ; it was 06:00 am.
I got out of my bed and went to my bathroom to bath and brush my teeth. After doing my hygiene I applied lotion to my body and wore my underwear , bra , a black tight dress that stopped by my thighs with a floral blazer to look professional . I walked over to my shoe closet and wore my black high heels .
I took a seat by my dresser and straightened my hair and put it into a neat bun and wore my glasses ( btw , I'm short sighted ). I grabbed my MK bag and headed downstairs .
When I got downstairs I saw Monica preparing breakfast.
"Morning bestie ", i said as I sat on the high chair by the kitchen counter.
"Morning , girl . I see someone is ready for their interview today ", she said as she dished out breakfast for us both.
"Haha , I'm super nervous though ", I said as I took a sip of the freshly squeezed orange juice.
"Don't worry , I bet you gonna ace it ", Monica said as she gave me a reassuring smile .
I took a bite of my bacon which slightly burnt my tongue but tastes delicious and crunch .
"Mmm , this tastes good ", I said .
"Thanks , maybe I should become a chief " , Monica said laughing .
"Lol no , you gonna give people food poisoning ",I said in a jokey manner.
"ugh , don't even ", Monica said . Shortly after we were done eating breakfast .
"Oh my , look at the time . I should get going ", I said looking at my wrist watch . It was 07:30 am. I gave Monica a hug , rushed out of the house into my Black Mercedes G wagon and drove to work .
Monica's POV
After Zoë left I put our dirty dishes into the sink. I got a call from work .
"Hello", I said into the phone .
"Hello Dr.Jeers , we have an emergency here at the Animal Care hospital. Can you please report here immediately ", said the secretary.
"I'll be there now ",I said then hung up the phone . I went to my red Audi A4 and pulled out the driveway.
The fastest way to the hospital was if I took the highway soo I took the highway entrance . When I saw that there was traffic I hit my steering wheel out of frustration.
"Omg , I don't think I'll ever make it to work in time ", I said as I took a look at my phone to check the time .
I texted the secretary and told her I might take a while .
Zoë's POV
When I got to the Grey industries building I parked my car near the entrance. When I got out I took a look at the building , it was a tall building and all you saw was glass windows.
I took a deep breath and walked into the building where I was greeted by the security.
I walked to the receptionists table . There were two receptionists.
"Good morning , umm , where are the interviews for the PA position taking place ?" I asked politely .
One of the women looked at me with a smile as said :"Morning , they are being held on the 32nd floor in the boardroom ".
"Thanks -"I looked at her name tag and read "Anne" . "Thanks Anne", I said and walked towards the elevators . There were two elevators and I pressed the button for the one on the right hand side .
After a few minutes the elevator door opened and a couple of people walked out . I got into the elevator and I pressed the button with 32 on it .
The elevator stopped at the 32nd floor and the doors opened . I walked out and looked for the boardroom . I was walking until I bumped into a tall figure and a few papers out of his hands.
"I'm so sorry ", I said as I helped the man pick the papers up . When I saw his face I froze in awe .
He cleared his throat and I snapped out of my trance.
"I'm Mr.Grey , and you are ?" He asked . Before I could answer him I remembered that I was late for my interview.
"I'm late ! ", I said as I walked past him looking for the boardroom .
"Nice to meet you late !" , he said and walked towards the direction of the elevators.
Wait , What ! he said he was Mr.Grey ! I just made a fool of my self in front of my potential boss . . . Well done Zoë.
Mr.Grey POV
I walked into the opposite direction that she was going .I pressed the elevator button and the elevator opened . I pressed the 60th floor button and the door closed .
I can't help but think of that girl . She's different , very different . Most women would notice who I am from a mile away and praise me but she's just different . I wonder if she's going to the interview for the PA position .
