Zoë's POV
Finally I found the boardroom. The door was glass so you could see what was going on inside. There was a women who looked like she was in her mid 30s .I opened the door and greeted her .
"You must be Zoë Davis ", she said with a smile .
"Yes", I said as I returned the smile and we shook hands .
"Take a seat ", she said and she took a seat opposite me . She took a look at her tablet and it looked as if she had gotten a message .
"Mr.Grey won't be here unfortunately due to the amount of work he has to do but I will be interviewing you ", she said . "Let's begin ".
A few minutes later the door opened and Mr.Grey entered .
"Sir , i thought you had a lot of work but I'm glad you made it", she said . Mr.Grey didn't answer , he just took a seat next to the lady.
"Shall we continue?" , Mr.Grey said .
"So where else have you worked ?" , the women asked .
"I've worked as a journalist umm and I was once a secretary for a business " , I said and looked at my now sweaty hands on my lap .
I mostly looked at the women because I felt like Mr.Grey was staring a little too much.
The interview went on until Mr.Grey interrupted the women .
"I think that's enough for today . Would you please give me an Ms.Davis a moment ?", he asked still looking at me .
"Sure ", the lady said and she packed her stuff and left .
"What do you think about being out of comfort zone ?" , he said putting his elbows on the table .
I took some time to think because I didn't want to give a bad answer.
"Well , I thinks it's good to be out of your comfort zone . I mean , how are you supposed to make progress/ discover new thing if you stuck in your comfort zone ? I think being out of your comfort zone is exciting you learn new things and you might just discover more about yourself ", I answered confidently.
He had a pleased look on his face .
"Excellent answer Ms.Davis ",he said .
"You start on Monday ", he continued.
What ! Did he just say what I think he just said ! Omg , I think I'm about to freak out . . .ohkay , calm down Zoë. Out of all the people who got interviewed for this job I got it ! I'm so happy rn .
"Really ? ", I asked in disbelief.
"Did I stutter ?" , he asked with a straight face .
I looked at him with a 'really now' face but then shook my head and smiled .
"Thank you , you won't be disappointed , sir " , I said .
"Have a nice day " , I said as I walked out the boardroom with my handbag.
I did a mini happy dance in my head while I was walking down the hall . I called Monica but it went to voicemail . That's strange but I'll call her later .
Monica POV
When I arrived at the hospital I rushed to my office and I saw my secretary.
"What's the matter ?" , I asked as I put in my white doctor coat .
"There is a girl with a dog that got injured ",she said .
"Did they send the do to the operation room ?" , I asked .
