It's been a week since the Sebastian incident and I've been dodging him.
I was in my office just working on some paperwork when my phone rang.It was Sebastian's mom.I put my phone on loud speaker.
"Hello mommy" I said smiling.
"Hey baby , how are you?"she asked in a happy tone.
"I'm good thanks and yourself" I said as I picked up a pen and signed the paperwork.
"I'm good.I just wanted to invite you and Sebastian to a charity event me and my husband are having"
"Um , Sebastian and I are separated so I don't know if I'll be comfortable seeing or talking to him"I said in a uneasy tone.
"Oh come on , you still part of the family even thought you and Sebastian aren't together"she said.
"I'll be there just give me the time and date"
"In 5 days"
"Thank you for the invite"I said.
"My pleasure , sweetie"
She hung up the phone and I continued working.There was a knock on my door.
"Come in"
A man dressed in a golf T shirt and pants holding a bouquet of flowers.
"Delivery for Ms.Davis"he said.
"That's me" I said getting out of my seat.
He gave me the flowers and I signed the paper on his clipboard.
"Who are they from ?" I asked looking at them in awe.
"Mr.Sebastian Grey"he said before working out.
It was another apology letter.
I put the flowers on my desk and headed to Sebastian office.I knocked on the door and opened it slightly.
"Come in" he said.
"Hello , I brought some paperwork that I need you to sign"I said handing him the paperwork with a pen.
He sign the paperwork and read some of it.I sat down in the chair in front of his desk.I just remembered something.
"You have a meeting with the Vintage founder and co-founder tomorrow at 10:30 in New York"I said unlocking my phone.
"Let's go out for dinner "he said .
"I'm not hungry"I said with an attitude.
He threw the papers at me.They fell onto the ground and I picked them up.
"Get out"he said clinching his jaw.
"Gladly"I said with a fake smile and strutted out of his office.
I said goodnight to Anne and walked to the parking lot where my car was.I unlocked my car and got in.
I felt like someone was watching me so I looked around but I saw no one.I started my car and drove home.I looked up into my rear view mirror and I noticed that there was a black Dodge car following me.I tried my best to loose the car but it was still on my tail.
I called Jacob.
"Pick up , pick up , please "I said to myself.
"The number you have dialed is not available at present please try again later"then the phone was hung up.
" Fudge ! "I said hitting the steering wheel.
I tried calling Monica and Lucas but it went to voicemail.I panicked so I stepped on the gas and drove to Sebastian's house.
When I stopped my car at his gate entrance by the security guards the Black Dodge drove away.
I was crying out of fear.The security guard opened the gate because he knew me and Sebastian told them to always open the gate for me since I was always welcome.
I parked my car in the underground parking lot.
Yes , he has his own parking lot on his property.
I ran out of the car to the front door.I was banging on the door and a few seconds later Sebastian's housekeeper answered the door.
She welcomed me in and offered me some sugar water for my shock.
Shortly , Sebastian entered the house and walked into the kitchen.
"I'll call you later , bye " He said as he hung up the phone.
He put his laptop bag on the kitchen island.
"What are you doing here ?"he asked.
I told him the whole story and he showed no emotion at all.
"That sounds very unfortunate.I don't care about your feeling but I care about your safety so you can sleep here for the night then you out"he said removing his jacket.
"You only letting me sleep her for one night ?! But I'm in this mess because of you Sebastian! This is all your fault."I said hurt.
His housekeeper watched everything happen.
"Rose , can you please excuse us"Sebastian said.
She gave me a sympathetic look then walked out of the kitchen.
"Zoë , at least try to act professional when we get to New York because I don't have time for this childish behavior " he said.
"I'll ask one of my people to go fetch your clothes from your house and bring them here "he said walking out of the kitchen.
I walked upstairs and took a quick nap.I woken up by Sebastian carrying me bridal style into a black SUV.
He told the driver that he could start driving and we were followed by two other cars.
"Why are we being followed"I asked looking back.
"Safety reasons" he said.

We arrived at the private airport and there was a private jet waiting for us.
The pilot greeted us and we go into the jet.The interior was elegant and simple.
I put my phone in airplane mode and into my MK handbag.I put on my glasses and began to read a book called 'Milk and honey' by Rupi Kaur.
"Please buckle up your seatbelt we are about to lift off" the pilot said into the intercom microphone.
I buckled up my seatbelt and Sebastian did the same.
A few minutes later , we were in the air.It was so calm and peaceful.I looked out the window and saw dark clouds and tall buildings.I began to feel a little nauseas so I looked away.
I put a fluffy warm blanket over Sebastian because he was sleeping peacefully and I didn't want to wake him.I walked back to my seat and feel asleep.
