"Lev," Kuroo started, locking eyes with the younger boy, "Would I lie to you?"

"No?" Lev answered, unsure of where Kuroo was going with this.

"(Y/N) likes you," Kuroo continued before Lev could interrupt, "Everyone knows it, after the training camp Hinata even asked Kenma about it."

Lev was torn between apprehensive squinting and a shocked gasp so he just remained quiet, blinking slowly.

"Okay, I appear to have broken you," Kuroo snapped his fingers in front of Lev's face, "Come back to me, buddy."

"I...Uh- What?"

"(Y/N) likes you and I can only assume that she either attempted to move on and did so successfully or didn't but is pretending she did for her own sake," Kuroo informed, "Because she's not the kind of person who'd say that just to evoke a reaction out of you."

"But, why would she move on?" Lev questioned,

"Because it isn't exactly like you showed an inch of romantic attraction towards her," Kuroo explained.

"But I didn't even know!" Lev exclaimed

"Evidently! But, you can't expect her to just wait around for you to take an interest in her," the ace said.

Lev just stood for a moment, half staring at Kuroo, half staring past him. He was lost in thought for few moments before he snapped his head up.

"I have to tell her!" Lev shouted, already turning for the door.

"Got there eventually," Kuroo commended, laughing slightly.

"Thanks, Kuroo!" Lev called over his shoulder while barrelling down the stairs, "Thanks, Miss. Kuroo!" The captain heard him shout has he ran out the door and took to the street in a full on sprint.

"No worries, dear," Kuroo's mum called redundantly after him.

It wasn't far from Kuroo's house to (Y/N)'s and Lev's speed plus his long legs meant he got there in no time but nevertheless he was breathless when he reached her front door and knocked heavily on it. He expected (Y/N)'s mum to answer it but he was greeted by a face he didn't recognise.

"Who are you?" The blond haired boy asked, squaring his shoulders and doing his best not to tilt his head up to glare at Lev.

"I-I'm Lev," He was not prepared for this, "Who are you?"

"I don't have to tell you that!" the boy exclaimed before turning away from the door and the bemused Lev stood at it to shout into the house, "Sis! It's Lev, should I let him in?"

'Sis?' Lev thought, since when did (Y/N) have a brother.
