Chapter 46: What the Hell?

We are at Summerslam once again. Hunter is the referee for John and Daniel's match. Honestly with the way Hunter has been acting I am kind of iffy on how this match will go.

"Daddy?" Jesse asked from his spot on the couch

Hunter turned to look at him "Yea?"

Jesse tilted his head with a confused look "Do you hate uncle Brian?"

Hunter looked shocked "No buddy I don't hate uncle Brian."

"How come you are constantly with Aunt Stephanie?" Emma asked

I noticed Hunter hesitate to answer. Question's started to stir up in my head and I wanted answers. Why was he hanging with Steph and Vince so much? More importantly why was he constantly with Stephanie?

"We've been talking about my storyline." He said and started towards the door

"Where you going daddy?" Aurora asked looking up from her coloring book

He looked at her "To the match sweetie." Then he walked out the door

I pulled out my phone and texted Kirbie, Alex and Sam. Not long after they came to the room along with Brie and Nikki Bella and Nattie.

"What's up girlie?" Nikki asked taking a seat next to me

I looked at them "I think Hunter is hiding something from me." I whispered

They looked at me with wide eyes

"Hey Jesse, Emma, Aurora, MC let's go to catering." Nattie said

Nattie, Nikki and Brie took the kids to catering so I could talk to Kirbie, Alex and Sam. They looked at me and gave me that look to continue with what I was saying.

I sighed "He's been hanging out with Stephanie a lot. Hell he's even been talking to Vince more than normal."

"Maybe it's nothing." Kirbie said

I shook my head "I thought that at first until..." I trailed off

"Until what?" Alex asked

I looked down "Until he started comparing me to Steph."

They gasped

"Des, sweetie, what did he say?" Sam asked

I looked at her "This morning I was getting the kids' bag ready for tonight and he was like 'that's not how Steph does it.' Then at our house I was putting our breakfast dishes in the sink and once again he said that. And get this when I was picking out an outfit for our family photos I picked out a comfortable outfit since we were going to be outside. He looked at it and said 'Stephanie wouldn't wear something like that.' He's been doing that lately and it's getting frustrating." I said looking down as tears came to my eyes

"I'm going to kick his ass." Kirbie and Alex both said

"Calm down. What if that's not what Des wants?" Sam said

They looked at her

"What do you want Des?" Kirbie asked

We all looked at the screen when we heard Randy's theme hit. I watched in shock as Hunter hit Brian with a pedigree. Ignoring the girls question I grabbed the kids' bag and my messenger bag and walked out of the room. I got the kids and left for the hotel.

After tucking the kids in I got in bed myself. Why didn't he just tell me? Why is he keeping secrets? I just pray that it's nothing bad.

The next night at Raw the kids and I were in catering with Kirbie, Alex, Sam, Alana, John, Brian, Nikki, Brie, Nattie and the two newbies Eva Marie and JoJo.
